hit 3rd prestige the other night. this game truly isn't THAT bad. I absolutely hated MW3 but this is a little more fulfilling imo. too bad none of you TWWers are on 360 anymore

MW3 was much more fun to me.

This game plays exactly like BLOPS2. I struggle to see people before I'm dead.. not sure if it's just the graphics, the lag, or I'm just old. I don't hear anyone either... at all, even un-silenced full autos have no sound until I'm dead.

Case in point: played BLOPS2 the other day with Fenix until we got fed up with it. Switched to MW3 and had 50 kills in the first game alone (went around 50-15).

I'm going to keep playing because it's at least something different for a bit until Titanfall hits and warriors are starting to get together again. I'm hoping I can adapt to whatever these shenanigans are.

MW3 really was the best. I think Ghosts has officially taken CoD out of the "top game" category for players. It is now something you play as a second or third or even fourth option on consoles while you are taking a break from your main games.

I've been a first day buyer of every CoD game since W@W.

I played ghosts twice, and sold it on craigslist. Think i'm done with CoD for good. Nothing has changed in MP the entire time, and won't continue to support rehashing the same game for 6 years in a row for a $60 price tag.

Sometimes it's just time to move on...

For most of the people that I play with in the thread, the cost of a decent video game is negligible when compared the amount of time we put in playing the game.

I consider a trip to the movies my basis for cost:entertainment ratio. I roughly peg a 2 hour movie at $10 ergo $5/ hour. Any entertainment cost that is less than $5 per hour is acceptable. A $60 game needs only 12 hours of play to break even with a movie.

I know several of us that have put in over 100 hours on a single game. Forget the cost of the game, that covers the cost of the console.

Its hard for me to believe that Ghosts is the straw that broke the camels back when it comes to CoD rehashing the same formula over and over. whatevs, i got 50 hours in and probably won't be buying another game until i get an xbox one (probably never either unless my deployment gets moved up within the next year).

oh and i started playing minecraft again. who needs shooters when you have creepers to trap

To me the best game was MW2. I know the game was overrun with glitches and hacks at times, but when everything was working right the game was so satisfying to play.

i use the trusty SA-802. it's a basic AR with good power/firerate/range. and then the bizon for super run and gun objective games.

that was definitely my problem with the game at first. I was switching guns left and right but now i'm up to like 700 squad points because i've been using the same stable of weapons

this game is growing on me.
i think it's a combination of will and an attempt to change my attitude. i've come to accept that i'll no longer consistently go 30(or more)+.
my only real complaints:
* there are still lag issues, which is pretty disappointing
* i sometimes still have a hard time seeing people... assume it's getting older + the ridiculous amount of textures/objects/details in the maps now
* come on, stop the quick scoping/drop shotting nonsense... it's not as prevalent (to me) as blops 2, etc, but it's still there

Things for me started to turn around when I finally pulled my xbox one off of wireless and put it on a wired connection. My k/d was around 1.25:1 prior, and I swear it is over 2:1 since then. The annoying shit, like people killing me before I could even see them on the screen doesn't happen as much anymore.

Just found out that the semi-auto attachment takes most AR's down to a 2-shot kill at med/close range compared to having to land 3-shots when in auto. I've been rolling with a semi-auto honey badger on everything but longer-range maps and am loving it.

I also tried the vector SMG for the first time. A grip + extended mags and it's been a lot of fun.

I kind of love the M27 LMG, slapped a grip on that badboy and it's no joke.
