He won't make it to the general, and if he did, he would get destroyed. His unfavorables among Republicans is sky high, ~60%, which is why despite maximum exposure he's not breaking that 25-30% barrier in primary polling.

^^ george will is a known GOP shill, that disclosure doesn't really change the tone of his column.

He's not saying anything no one else isn't saying either, what's "new" there is that it seems the mainstream GOPers are starting to call Trump racist for saying what the GOP has been saying for a decade, just in more coded terms.

The great irony is that with all their war-mongering and advancement of enacting Christian Law onto people of our nation, Right-wing conservatives share more in common with ISIS and radical islam then the "liberal"(s) agenda that she is denouncing.

^ It's really difficult for me to take anything you say seriously when you think this. Why don't you read up on ISIL and radical Islam and what they have done lately, all you're doing is exposing to everyone on this board that you're uneducated.

Well I know it's a stretch but i'd say Right-Wing Christian conservatives have more in common with radical islam (minus the hyper-USA patriotism) then the hippy eco-liberal douches that always have to be PC, for everyone to live in peace/harmony and shirk person responsibility to being the fault of the "system".

Every time I put the news some Hard-Ass GOPer is:
- Talking about blowing up some country that doesn't agree with us
- Eliminating PP and rallying the anti-choice crowd
- Bitching about drugs
- Jesus/God/Christian Nation
- Complaining about something in pop culture corrupting our moral fabric
- Family Values
- Rawr Rawr Rawr
- Drugs are bad mmmkay

Seems like all positions hard-core islams would hold as long as you substitute Jesus with Allah and add a few "fuck the infidels" and "death to America" chants.

Plus the whole theocracy / pseudo-fascism thing.

I mean, it's not 100% accurate but it isn't exactly a far stretch.

I am so sorry people have a different opinion on a political issue than you.

Quote :

I am so sorry people have a different opinion on a political issue than you.

Quote :
"- Jesus/God/Christian Nation"

I apologize people have a different philosophical outlook on life than you. No one is setting up a theocracy. Constitutional changes require two thirds of both Houses and 38 states to sign off, which is not happening, period. If you seriously think a theocracy in this country is even remotely possible, I question how you were intelligent enough to be admitted to North Carolina State University.

Quote :
"- Complaining about something in pop culture corrupting our moral fabric"

It's what a lot of people have done in this thread about Trump, including yourself on this thread a couple pages back, so you are being hypocritical. (And I've made my position clear here I'm not a fan of the man.)

Quote :
"- Family Values"

The best people I meet on a daily basis normally are part of a strong family. Not saying being part of a good family means you'll turn out right or not being part of a good family means you'll turn out horrible, but it's a general rule that holds. Look at our president, he would've never became president if it wasn't for a loving grandmother that nurtured him. If you don't believe me I can introduce you to my wife who is a school counselor and she can tell you stories about children with issues and what their parents are like.

Quote :
"- Rawr Rawr Rawr"

This is not a substantive point about anything.

Quote :
"- Drugs are bad mmmkay"

You repeated yourself from up above.

By the way, HUR's Favorite Quote, so I'm not entirely sure why he's here unless he's trying to prove he's retarded according to what he himself has stated:

I don't think that it's a stretch to insinuate that hard-right Christians and hard-right Muslims share many of the same political opinions and philosophical outlooks on life.

I'm surprised that their respective hatred for gays and support for capital punishment weren't mentioned as well.

Of course the GOP is talking about fake problems like illegal immigration, planned parenthood, and drugs. They have nothing else! No wars, economy is fine, people have healthcare now, etc..... The real problems that need to be addressed are all liberal/progressive agendas like income inequality, climate change, and education. They aren't going to win primary voters talking about those things and there is nothing tangible to rail against Obama about. They are fucked.

The candidates still has the stand by imaginary issue of how the incompetent lazy government is gonna find out where your guns are and send agents to take them. I am waiting for one of the lesser known candidates to say something ridiculous on that to get attention.

So around this time last election cycle, Romney had a double digit lead over Obama in the polls. He lost by 5 points while carrying only 23% of the Latino vote. The math for the GOP is pretty cut and dry, they need ~47% of the Latino vote to have a chance in 2016. If Donald is the nominee, well.....

Romney got 61% of the white vote in 2012, if Trump could pull that up to 70%, he could win with very little minority voters.

It still seems unlikely this would happen, but Trump was never supposed to make it this far in the first place

^^Yeah, Trump's definitely exceeded all expectations thus far. On the flip side, his opponents have been far worse than ever imagined, which is saying something because no one expected much from this field to begin with. Bush's failings have been well publicized, but what about Rubio and Walker? Those two absolutely withered under the national spotlight. Someone needs to put Romney on suicide watch, he would have absolutely mopped up with this field, and there's no Obama waiting for him in the general this time.

What is the GOP strategy for picking up Main St. besides scaring to people to vote for them otherwise the terrorist/Iran are going to attack Amurica and rallying behind some fat bitch for not signing a gay marriage license (in the name of religious freedom )

Quote :
"sidential candidate Mike Huckabee visits Kim Davis in jail.

Afterward, he'll lead an "#ImWithKim Liberty Rally" outside the Carter County Detention Center."

Quote :
""This agreement will give Iran the means to launch a nuclear attack on the U.S. homeland," Cheney said. "I know of no nation in history that has agreed to guarantee that the means of its own destruction will be in the hands of another nation, particularly one that is hostile.""

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/08/politics/dick-cheney-iran-speech-madness/index.html

Does Dick Cheney really believe that Iran is now going to blow up America or is this drum beating to scare average Joe to stick to the -R for the upcoming presidential election for their own Safety & Security.

It's Dick Cheney trying to make people forget that the majority of Iran's nuclear infrastructure was built under his watch.

it's also worth pointing out that Halliburton sold technology to Iran while Cheney was the CEO. They setup off-shore subsidiaries to skirt US sanctions against Iran, and Cheney called Clinton's administration "sanction-happy"

Cheney is a movie-quality evil villain

Too bad republicans are too busy rallying behind some bitch against gay marriage and pounding their chest about Iran. I bet if a candidate spoke out against something like excessive CEO compensation they would really make a lot of supporters

i.e.

"Jeff Smisek, the company's CEO and chairman, stepped down "in connection with the company's previously disclosed internal investigation related to the federal investigation associated with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey," the company said in a statement Tuesday."

Quote :
"Smisek will walk away with a $4.8 million "separation payment" according to a public filing from the company. He'll remain eligible for his year-end bonus and will"
