Lucas/Can in midfield is pretty conservative for Liverpool tho. Big test for Gomez.

I'll take that point all day long. Liverpool defense looks so much better this season. I'm so impressed with Gomez and Clyne has been excellent. Good thing he chose Liverpool over United.

Oh they did score but the ref fucked it up. Didn't see the first half.

Such is life.

honestly, I thought Arsenal looked pretty good, especially considering the changes they had to make. I know Cech has some bad fuckups in earlier games but man he had some awesome saves today.

I think both teams should be pleased with the performance, even without no goals. Both had plenty of chances and it was a very entertaining 0-0. Arsenal won't like to drop points at home but still.

Pool with an 18 year old at left back so obviously you should play a CM on the right wing.

Newcastle were a disgrace from the start... stoke like with the tackles.

Not to mention a more clear pen on Bellerin than any I've seen not called. He got his calf stomped!

United linked to Martial from Monaco. Don't know much about him aside from being a stud 18 year old on FIFA...

Pretty odd considering they have the next Ruud on the team in Wilson.

Really though, just play Fellaini up front..

lol Martial has been on our radar for a while. It is very likely after Rooney's performance LVG and United have decided to pursue him now instead of getting him next year. Also rumored that Chelsea had a bid turned down for him as well.

36 million quid is stupid money for a 19 year old and I really hate this deal but Woodward has done really well this transfer window and I am going to trust him and the board to know what they are doing.

He could easily be a 36 million player in two years or he could easily be another Andy Carroll, I simply don't know anything about him to make a judgement either way. Chicha was def. done after his performance against Bruges. I only hope that means Wilson gets a chance now with Martial.

I am ok with the move for Martial, a lack of quality options in the transfer market with strikers and our immediate need for one makes it a worthwhile risk. I absolutely do not understand why Januzaj was sent to Dortmund, this is ridiculous and absurd.

Hope if De Gea is leaving then Navas is coming the other way. That should be more than good enough in the transfer market. Just need to make that possession count in the final third. With Januzaj leaving I can see Herrera getting more starts and hopefully Martial has a better first touch and finishing ability than the Wayne Rooney imposter in our squad currently.

Lloris is obviously going to be Uniteds keeper.

Not sure how you could call it a great window when you lose your most important player (De Gea) and your most talented player (Di Maria) but what do I know?

Still at least you did SOMETHING to improve instead of just counting your money..

Di Maria was our best attacking player? What Di Maria did you watch in the last 6 months? He wanted to leave as well and we got a fair fee for him. Ashley Young kept him out of the United team, I am not complaining about losing him at all.

De Gea isn't gone yet but as I said if we get Navas to go the other way it won't be a bad loss. I am disappointed we haven't signed a CB but I am hoping Rojo comes back and stays fit. Blind has proven to be a good replacement against the smaller teams.

In terms of the transfer window Schniderlin is a huge improvement in an area we needed to improve in. Darmian has been solid. Basti is going to be useful in his leadership and experience. I already feel like Basti is a step ahead of most of our other team and he will continue to grow in his role over the course of the season. Great rotation with Carrick too for the large amount of fixtures to come.

Depay is one for the future but I feel will be a very good player. I believe our transfer window this season was a lot more effective than last. We should have squared away the De Gea situation but that fault lies with Madrid and their disrespectful low ball offers. They happily paid 30 million plus for Kovacic but didn't want to for De Gea. We did fuck up the Pedro deal so I am disappointed there. Not sure what the plan for Martial is but I imagine he will be a starter with Rooney moving back to number 10.

I hate the deal because of the money involved and his age. Relatively unknown but supposedly a great prospect. I am not a big fan of big money signings like these. If you are paying over 30 million for a player he better be an immediate improvement and not potential.

That said I am willing to give the board the benefit of the doubt and see how it works out. The problem is we need a striker who can come in and score now, Rooney just isn't cutting it at the moment and I am not sure what the problem is with him.

It rare a 19 year old comes in and bangs in 20 goals, don't expect Martial to do that at all but I am excited to see what he can offer for the future.

Talent won't count when the player never wanted to be here. I do feel Di Maria could have gone on to have a very good year now that we have finally figured out how to keep possession. Looking at the window there really weren't any great options out there to fix the issues that United are having in the final third.

Pedro, Costa, and KDB are three but I honestly don't believe the problem is the wingers. I think the problem for United lies at the number 9 and number 10 positions.

Rooney had 2 or 3 chances against Swansea that I believe two years ago he would have scored from. Looking at the strikers signed in this window Benteke, Mandzukic, and Martinez were probably the best options available. Benteke and Mandzukic I believe do not fit our style. Jackson Martinez I don't know enough about but may have been an option but we likely never looked at him.

Seems Arsenal is having the same issues in the final third with not being able to create chances. I am still hoping its just the fact that United have new players trying to figure out the team chemistry. If Martial starts with Rooney at number 10 that may fix some of our issues. Rooney just doesn't seem to be able to play up front anymore. Lost the pace and mentality of a proper center half over the last few years I think.

If Wilson also goes on loan I am going to be fucking pissed. Januzaj on loan with no option to buy just doesn't make sense to me. Great team to go to on loan but why not have him develop here? We have plenty of fucking fixtures he could play in.

might be a dumb question, but isnt Martial cup-tied? match reports show him playing in one of monaco's playoff legs. maybe united don't plan on using him in the CL, but i figure they would want to play him considering the money spent.

He could have handled his exit much better, see Ronaldo for example. The right thing for DDG to do was to sign the extremely generous contract we offered and go to Madrid for a world record fee. He will only be a footnote in United's history.

It amazes me that he is so willing to go to a club where the fans will destroy him after one bad match and a club that is treating Keylor Navas the way they are. If Real Madrid and Perez really wanted him they should have made a deal 1 month ago instead of posturing and trying to sign De Gea on the cheap. Glad Woodward stuck to his guns and gave Madrid a big fuck you.

He should have wrote a letter to management on his personal website.

The transfer window is full of should haves. United should have signed Martial for £19m two months ago...

This is the kind of team ddg wants to play for still. What can I say if ddg can't see what kind of a cunt Perez is and still wants to play for him. Regardless of ddg motivations real Madrid are a fucking farce of a club. Never submitted their paperwork to LA liga and briefed their press to blame united for it too. Wish this shit had just ended last night. Ddg is not a smart man for sure.
