Got up to level 8 in the underground last night. Got a badass assault rifle that does over 90k DPS with no mods. Also was able to switch some gear around and make a DPS/tank build where my line is 245/370/24. Gonna try and run that for a bit to see if I like it better than the full on skill build where I'm like 140/350/42 with 4 pieces of tacticians.

Just made it to lvl 30 and bought a bunch of gear. Probably a mistake but all of my other gear was around lvl 21 and i was just saving to get good stuff at level 30.

So beyond this point, is the DZ the best way to go for getting gear towards end game stuff?

Started playing the Underground last night. Gear score is now 219 [not optimized].

the UG is kind of fun. Just need to figure out a way to keep a good group together past 3 missions.

Guys in DZ over Gear lvl 200 kill me quicks. Guess it is better in groups.

Do they or will they ever bring in straight team deathmatches?

IMHO

Getting good gear seems alot easier. I have always used the M60 and now with the changes it is awesome.
Running alot of Clear Sky to get more Phoenix credit and loot. The world tier system is good.

Just revisited this game for the first time in months.

The updates and dlc (Survival) are great.


The game is now fun for the solo player. The 20 or so bosses in free roam solo play regenerate every 4 hours and often drop green loot. Really easy now to pop in the game and mess around for an hour or two and be satisfied.

Quality of life, no. Pretty sure Survival is paid DLC, but qualifies as part of the original season pass if you bought that way back when.

I played it in beta. Enemies are still bullet sponges. Graphics are better. NPCs still share a very small number of models. Will see if dark zone is full of hacks again before considering it

I have it. Really good. The enemy are definitely not as spongy as before. The enemy AI is also much better.

Ill be getting it soonish. Really like the changes they made in regards to bullet spongyness of enemies. The armor is a very nice touch that makes it seem more realistic. Seems to be a shitton of content as well. Im impressed. Poor anthem is dead

Anyone run into an issue with motion blur? Game looks good when my character isnt moving...but when hes walking or running, i have a blurry issue, especially/mostly close range. Makes seeing some of the loot boxes/bags tough to see.

I like the game, but the bugginess of it is beginning to annoy me. Numerous times ive gotten some kinda sound glitch where the only noise is my feet and gunshots. A reatart of the game fixes it though. Ive had numerous lag spikes during combat...likely because im on an S and not an X...still annoying. Now my healing drone will not heal. It pops out and immediately recalls. Restarts havent fixed it

Edit: seems the immediate recall of skills is a known issue as of 2 days ago. Strange since all my skills worked fine the last 2 days. Hope they get it fixed soon...

Edit 2: now all my skills are doing it rendering this shit unplayable. Ill be back when they fix it

They have some bugs to work out but its quite, quite good. Ive got one character to level 28 and one to level 25(primarily play with a buddy who is a little slower than me on this one). Theres so much to do on the map.

Whats everyones preferred weapon loadout so far? I havent made it to endgame content yet, but gimme an mk16 and mk17 of some varisnt and im a happy guy

i'd been spared of random groups being absolute dumbass fucks with this game....until just now. I spent the last hour working through the toughest mission in the game so far. My team of 4 makes it until the next to last part before the boss and one of the guys disconnects...and never comes back. So just three of us get to the boss part and try it one time and make it about halfway through and die. They both ditch the group.

A fucking hours worth of work just thrown away after one fucking try. I haven't been this livid about a video game in a long fucking time. Now i've gotta find another random group and do this shit all over again because of those fucks and just waste an hour of my time.

and for some fucking reason, when you reach the boss, I guess you can no longer matchmake...so I can't even get another couple of folks in here to help me and try and save time
