Seems like those football facilities were a big waste of money. Should of invested that into our BB program as Gottfried showed he actually improved our program.

We have good running backs and should use them in a variety of plays. Dayes, Samuels, Gallaspy, and Hines are
all good players and we should design plays to get them the ball all game long. There's no excuses to be scoring LOL, 13 points in back to back games with these types of players on your team.

What bothers me is that our defense absolutely cannot force a turnover at all. In the UL game, Louisville's guys were ripping at the ball every play, but you never see our guys play aggressive like that. Our blitzes were massively ineffective tonight and seemingly every third down, we'd not even try to blitzes and give the qb an hour to throw. Just infuriating and blatantly obvious. Playcalling against State is just easy. We were just lucky that Mosley missed a lot of open WRs or we might have lost by 4 tds.

On the first TD we gave up, we blitzed the CB from the wide side of the field, lol. Motley had time to read the D, pump fake, reset and throw the long ball and he still never got hit, hahahaha. Funniest play call from our D I saw all night

I really don't understand this coaching staff. The reason why they were hired is because of the success they had at NIU running a up tempo no huddle offense. DD gets and says he is going to run the same thing here. But all I see is us running our offense out of a huddle all the damn time. I guess that explains his lack of success here. He is doing here what really did not work for him at NIU.
