Was KK arguing that Kansas stepped out on that save? Never showed a good replay to see if he had a case. But I thought KK was pointing to our end of the court when he was arguing, not pointing at the possible out of bounds.

Really happy with our performance. We hit a bucket or two during that cold stretch and I think we pull it out. Also, that odd technical on Keatts really hurt. Think the game is played a little differently towards the end if it was a 1-point game versus a 3-point game. Maybe I'm wrong but I kept those 2 points in mind the rest of the game.

That was my takeaway. Having joiner and the bigs really unclogs the half court offense. Terq still heaves it too much out of the flow, but you will take some of that.

I missed some of the first half but I think you just live with the 1 on 1 stuff or shots early in the shots clock with Baby T. Obviously shot selection is important and we cant shoot ourselves out of games. He’s good enough that you have to give him the freedom to take over but he’s gonna have off days sometimes so you kinda have to live with it imo. We aren’t good enough all around to have Baby T being super selective in his shot attempts.

The Bates vs his former team storyline is an obvious talking point. But because he only played like 50 seconds last year and there’s such incredible roster turnover, its mostly just Bates playing against some dudes that he might or might not really know (plus the coach that recruited him, which is more of a story).

I don’t think there’s anybody on the team from 2020 when Bates last actually played real minutes.
