well i ride dressage so there's a lower risk of falling off...it was different back when i evented

for someone who can out ride anyone bareback, with your skill you shouldnt need a helmet anywhere you go, especially for something low risk like dressage

in NC, that big poster and a waiver is enough to get the barn off the hook

barn rules REQUIRE a helmet for everyone at all times while on horseback, no exceptions due to age, riding skill, anything

i dont think i've had any concussions, but i never went to the doctor much

and 99% of my injuries come from bullriding, not horses

and the only leather between me and the bull is a glove, so when you prove you can hang on to a decent bull then you can brag all you want

i don't think you can take a kick to the head (horse? bull?) without a concussion unless it barely touched you

i'm not even sure there ARE bulls in NH
