Correction from my previous post, it was Shazam that didn't work, not Pandora.

HOWEVER, Updated Pandora/Shazam, running latest version of iTunes, and I can say that they currently all work. Beta 4 seems slightly more responsive overall. Yaaay.

Is there a way to make a custom icon for the home screen for a webpage you have on there? Right now, it just shows a miniature version of the website. I googled it and I found where the WEBSITE owner/admin can create an icon that will automatically come up when a user adds it to their page but is there a way for a user to do it if the website does not have one?

i just got back from the apple store./..traded my black 3g for a white one..

I KNOW...lame.

but i have a good reason..

all of the developers in our group just got in 10 new 3gs for testing and whatnot...all of htem are black. I wanted my personal phone to be distinguishable from the company phones.
they didnt even charge a restocking fee or anything! i am impressed with apple

Running beta 5. It does actually seem a fair bit more stable and faster still. Interesting as it just got released barely over a week after beta 4. Indeed MMS is gone, otherwise I don't see any noticeable differences.

Switching from 3 IMAP accounts and 1 POP account syncing every 15 mins and MobileMe to just one Exchange account for everything has helped my battery life quite a bit

if you haven't already updated to the latest prelease iTunes (b10), you can fix the MMS stuff by updating the IPCC file here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J84S5YPV

The latest prelease itunes kills the ability to update your IPCC so too late if you did that

i originally got the new black 16gb iphone with a contract on the april 22. I went into the apple store on the 7th which was one day past the 14 days (they dont have to even exchange after 14 days)...so i was surprised they did the exchange for me (and i had jailbroken the phone at one point and it was running os 3.0) they took it into the back and came out with a new white one in the box. set it up for me. I asked about the restocking fee and they said that there was no charge.. i was happily on my way. the apple store is growing on me..
