Herb is a pretty shitty coach. He's made the the tournament once at Arizona State, and he needed James Harden to make that happen. Running him off was the right move.

We needed to hire a Gottfried type coach 6 years ago. That's where we fucked up. We would've had some good seasons but the same frustration and his shelf life would be another ~5 years. By then we'd be an established decent program and could try to hire a top mid major coach.

Herb is terrible. They had a senior pendergraph who played a few nba seasons too on that team.

They had an epic meltdown in the pac 12 tourney blowing like a 20 point lead in vintage herb fashion. And a quick exit in the round of 32.

No one gets less results with more or more results with less. Its like I said in another thread herb could make fucking kate upton okay or fucking a dude okay.
