maaan i have $40 to banana and i really want to go buy stuff. my problem is that i have trouble cutting it off - if i find stuff that's on sale and fits i can't pare down to just 1 item.

I've spent about $300 in the past 3 weeks getting a whole new wardrobe basically. I hardly ever wore or bought dress clothes, but now I have lots of nice pants and shirts to mix and match with. And some new shorts, and 2 new pairs of dress shoes. JC Penney and Target were having good sales when I bought the clothes, so I did good. 6/18/2009 7:48:46 PM |

those ribbon shoes look super cute
my only concern is the ribbon not holding the shoes on right, or too many rub points causing blisters. the website says they're comfortable and the ribbon moves with your foot but im skeptical. if any of you girls (rjrgrl i know you already ordered) get them and wear them, post about comfort results!
otherwise i could totally see these being shoes i could wear everyday. but not if they hurt 6/20/2009 3:41:22 PM |
Jen All American 10527 Posts user info edit post |
i think a big group of us are going to go see a comedy show at goodnights and then drink downtown. I was thinking about wearing this
I had the same concern with the ribbon shoes, im not sure if they would hold but if they do it would be a good investment

If i get it I will end up wearing my hair up. I have way to much hair and i don't want it to distract from the back of the dress. Also, you can see my face much better when my hair is up so i would rather that be seen the the hair (i always wear my hair down and in my face anyway). I don't know about jewelry though, i think that is largely going to depend on the shoes I choose. But when i do find my shoes ill probably need some help deciding on the jewelery. My best friend specializes in awesomely expensive designer shoes so ill be cracking a pair from her vault for this 6/20/2009 7:20:24 PM |

i could have but the notion of not telling in attempt to hoard an overpriced fuck-me piece that i hypothetically may or may not buy from person living halfway across the nation (or even here in town) is really stupid, so i just said it 6/20/2009 9:39:58 PM |

i tend to be a bargain shopper so the price could deter me too lol
thanks for sharing, i may go try it on and if its too good to resist, i'll make it work
however i am concerned about boobage support with the strappyness in the back, gotta try it on to find out!6/20/2009 11:36:53 PM |
Jen All American 10527 Posts user info edit post |
i too was concerned about that but, as you can see, i got no bra and no support issues going on. The front portion of the dress was cleverly cut with this in mind though. One of the reasons i love it, a bra isn't really an option in this 6/21/2009 11:50:42 PM |
