I put him in a box I grabbed on the way out, and while we were watching the online stream, Banana started poking his head out of the box the boyfriend was like OH SHIT

Sorry to burst your bubbles guys, but likely we're just going to get severe thunderstorms. The convection and moisture aren't quite right, so the system won't set up with the same intensity as before, after it crosses the mountains.

^^ yeah, DC is still the hottest American city I have ever been in... concrete and shit, lots of wide open spaces, short buildings/little shade etc. Fucking brutal. Atl is pretty hot too but DC barely beats it
