Homemade pizza, well I cheated on the dough. I bought one of the premade pizza crusts. I made the sauce from scratch. Included basil, oregano and garlic all from my garden. Toppings were cheddar cheese, pepperoni and bacon.

what kind of premade dough?

i've never had luck with those. i mean its all fine and def better than frozen/delivery but i'm never super satisfied with the premade

i feel like with pizza the crust is the #1 spot where its at. followed CLOSELY (if not pretty equally) by sauce. without good crust and sauce you are fuuuuuucked.

so gg on making the sauce

^^ I cant remember the brand. I got them at the Hairy Teeter, small crusts in packs of 3.

Here's a pro-tip for cooking with them. They way over dry out if you don't prepare them the right way.

Run a little bit of water over each side, rub the water around to make sure you completely cover the dough. Let it sit for a few minutes to soak up the water, don't over water though or it'll be too soggy. After a few minutes of rest brush some olive oil on both sides. Sauce, cheese toppings. Preheat oven to 450. I place my pizza on a flat cast iron breakfast skillet. Cook for about 8 minutes, change over to broil, move pizza to top rack, cook for 2-3 minutes.

Then. NOM NOM NOM. Edge is nice and crispy and the inside is moist and D-FUCKING-LICIOUS.

Tonight was awesome. I suprised the wife with some homemade teriyaki pork chops, white rice, and steamed (chopped) broccolli. It was all I could put together in 30 minutes before she came home, but boy was it YUMMY!

i ate 4th food yesterday so i was feeling like a fatass today

so i had a pretty unpatriotic meal - greek salad

but it was AWESOME

leaf lettuce, red bell pepper, red onion, feta cheese, olives, cucumber, banana peppers, tomato, grilled chicken and a light greek dressing.

with pineapple on the side. YUM.

ok and i totally snuck in a piece of bday cake for dessert

i know. and i just ate hot dogs at a baseball game on saturday. and that is like the least healthy option. because all the sandwich options are going to be accompanied by a side salad and/or carrot sticks

or i can just go get something else equally unhealthy but less stomach upsetting

^^ i do like zaxbys. unfortunately it also upsets my stomach. most fast food type stuff does

but i like it sometimes. MUST RESIST. but it is so delicious.

maybe i will just eat plain hard boiled eggs and carrots and hummus.

usually that would sound really appetizing but now that i'm fantasizing about snoopys/zaxbys/wendys it sounds awful

You can always get a Zalad

I think I might go to Wendy's since you mentioned it, and I can get a large amount of food for cheap.

^^ what do you marinate it in? do you bake it/grill it/what?

i have only ever grilled salmon and i use that salmon magic stuff and it turns out well. but obviously i am interested in learning other ways

lemon pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste

make a marinade out of 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup water, 1/4 cup olive oil
marinate for at least 2 hours. (by the time I get home tomorrow, it'll be like 5:00pm...and I'll be hungry, so I'm starting the marinade tonight)

then you can grill the salmon filet
but I usually just bake it for 15 - 20 minutes.

serve with rice or asparagus (if I'm going to be peeing on anyone that night)
