^^ yeah, it is almost like a SIG. I paid 450 for a 220 older . just so I could have one. I love the gun, but really? each is their own. Wish I could help, never had an HK in my hands.

As a proud owner of 2 of them, I would say without hesitation YES. I shot many other manufacturer's (Glock, Ruger, Beretta, Sig, Smith and Wesson, to name a few) handguns before I shot the HK USP, and it was bar none my favorite of all I fired. I will say that getting anything HK locally in NC is a ridiculous chore. On the other hand, whenever I go to a gun show, I do tend to feel like I have a superior firearm to 9/10ths of all of the others there.

My really enjoy my HK P7M8. IMHO the P7 is one of the best pistols ever made. The are still some P7 PSP's floating around for around $700.

I have a P2000SK in .357 SIG I'm selling.

http://www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=323966

I'd consider a TWW discount if anyone is interested.

in the original add, you said 800, then in the update, you said "price drop to 925" - just a bit confusing

I had a guy take my CCP class a couple weeks ago with a brand new LCR, but it turned out he didn't like it. He asked me if I knew anyone looking for one so I thought I would post here. He paid $485 brand new and is looking to recoup $385 for it. Its only been shot that one time, so it's still in practically new condition. PM me if interested and I'll send his info.

Kahr CM9, less than 250rnds through it. Includes box, papers, extra mag and IWB holster. Great shape. No pictures sadly.

Ruger MKII 5.5" bull barrel. Fantastic shape, target grips. Original box and 2 mags included.

"$375 for the MKII Ruger"

having just bought a new mark III for $240 (?topic=503107&page=158#15433719, and it's still available at that price) what makes a used mark II worth $135 more?

a quick google search of the differences seems to indicate that they are relatively minor, the largest of which are the mag release (thumb on the III and bottom of the mag on the II), a "loaded chamber" indicator on the III (not present on the II and probably a somewhat silly addition), and the addition of screw sets for use of a picatinny rail on the III (not present on the II)

it's a serious question from a gun noob, not trying to crap your sale

a quick googling now makes me think that "22/45" and "mark III" are two different guns

based on ruger's site, there's the "real" mark III (steel grip frame) and there's the mark III version of the 22/45 (poly grip frame)

so that's probably the difference and his is a "real" mark II

*shrug*

the Mark III replaced the Mark II. it has all the stupid lawyer features like a magazine disconnect, internal lock, loaded chamber indicator. as you said, the Mark III 22/45 is a version of the Mark III that has the polymer frame that's supposed to have the grip angle of a 1911.

yeah...but the "normal" mark III (blued) retails for $450, so $375 is a more reasonable price (compared to my original thought, comparing it to the 22/45, which retails for $350)

it looks like a new mark III with 5.5" bull is only $337 with free shipping from bud's: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_49_74/products_id/12754/Ruger+MKIII+22LR+5+12%22+Blue

The mark ii is more desirable. Better made, harder to find. Has the vintage box as well which is worth a little by itself. I have had a mkii and a mkiii and I prefer the ii. Better trigger, no mag release safety be and nicer grips.

Yeah, I absolutely love mine. I don't have a lot of experience with the III but the II is amazing...most accurate pistol I've ever shot.

You can change out the trigger on the 22/45 for a Volquartsen for cheap, you can remove the mag release safety on the 22/45 in about 10 minutes, and the grips are replaceable for any 1911 style grip plates.

Budget? I recently picked up a Ruger American in .308 and love it. Also got a Taurus Ultra Lite the same day. ~$700 for both.

doesnt seem like many people have been to thrilled with the LC6 trigger or the one that came before.

looks to me like theyre trying to copy a savage.

The Accutrigger is a good product. Make sense to try to replicate it. So far I am happy with the American. I did not take long to get it sited in and drilling the 200 yd metal plate at Drakes.

It's pretty light. 6.5 lbs or so. They had a heavy barrel version as well at Sovereign for basically the same price. That rifle is quite a bit heavier though and not something I want to carry around the woods.

heavy barrels aren't really beneficial unless you are going to take several shots in relatively quick succession and heat the barrel up, such as prairie dog hunting or competitions with a time limit. pretty pointless on a deer rifle.

and the only thing really "new" about the accutrigger is savage devised a mechanism that allowed them to get a light, adjustable, creep-free trigger past their lawyers.

I have Rock River Arms LAR-15 Operator model for sale.

Less than 250 rounds through it.

I have 5 mags for it. 4 of which are new military issue, they are non PMAG.

Adjustable butt stock, chambered for 5.56, nice muzzle break...If you order one you are waiting 3 months for them right now!

I have some .223 ammo I will throw in so your first time to the range is ready to rock and roll. Looks like 460 rounds of PMC .223!

^Is it a Gen 3 or 4?

Out of curiosity, how did you get it for $545 with Trijicon sights? GSSF put me in touch with Lawmen's, and they gave me the runaround. Never could find a price with sights, since GSSF doesn't have sights on their price list anymore.

RFT is only gen 3.
Some consider them a Gen 3.5, but it is a gen 3 with different texture and serrations on the slide.
