Australia is behind Ghana by 5 on goal differential. They are in exactly the same situation that South Africa was in yesterday. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.

Germany and Serbia will be coming out today. US v. Serbia should be good. Klose is out today though, right? Man, being down Ballack and Klose is pretty harsh.

Ghana has a +1 goal differential and 4 points. Germany and Serbia have 3 points. Australia has 1 point and -4 goal differential. If Germany and Australia both win then they should get through. I think Germany can win by 2+ goals.

In all honesty, I wish I did feel more excitement about it. I feel left out in a time of year that really sucks for sports. My wife's uncle is heavily involved in this (his company runs all of the logistics for the stadiums and wanted to fly us out there on his dime), and most of my co-workers are really into it.

I have nothing against soccer (hell i played it from the time i was 5 till 10th grade).

the fact that y'all got so offended at my lack of OMGness is puzzling.
