yikes, yeah that's when i got mine. So far so good. But i'm not using mine for blu-ray/dvd/gaming yet as i dont have an HDTV yet. so its mostly just a lot of call of duty or other light gaming.

Mine hasn't been used too much. I let it sit for like 2 months so that might have something to do with it(ie dust). I also moved it out into our living room last week and my roomate vaccumed, next day it didn't work. I hear that the blu-ray lens is very sensitive to dust.

But no, they currently do not work on the ps3. Last i read there is supposed to be a massive patch released sometime in february but most people have said this game will be dead and we'll all be on to Killzone 2 before that happens.

anyone have problems with audio? mine was working fine, now all of the sudden there is clipping. changing it from 5.1 to basic 2 channel helped, but its still there.

^ Not at launch. They've said they may implement something later, but yeah, that's been the main gripe about it so far is no Co-op. I for one think its trash to release a game like this and not have co-op this day and age, but the game is still going to be totally awesome.

Looks like a little big of good and bad from joystiq's review (of single player). I really wish they'd have co-op in it. That's just something you want to ad before release. Oh well.

MLB 09 the Show Demo dropping today, along with Killzone


IGN has vids of MLB .. looks pretty good. A lot of people dont play baseball games, but if you do, the Show is always the best on the market.

I've got a UK account, took about 2 minutes to setup.

Anyway, Killzone is all kinds of awesome. I've been kind of down on FPS's for a while now, but this one feels a little different. Feels like there's more weight to everything. I really sucked it up on my first playthrough, but the 2nd time around was awesome. Man, does it look good too.

Also, they released a new Hot Shots course. I love that game.

Technically very impressive demo. I thought the sound was just as good as the visuals, which is something I never really got from all the trailers. There is just sooooooo much going on in every scene, the sheer amount of detail combined with the depth of field is incredible.

The controls did catch me by surprise, feels completely different from something like Resistance 2, for example. I'd read about the "weighty feel" but didn't really understand what that meant until I played it and it really did just feel sluggish at first. Be ready for that, you will probably be disappointed with the feel the first time you play it, especially if you're used to more fast paced shooters. You do get used to it after a couple runs and the cover system is very well designed.

i cant figure out which control scheme i like the best...i wish there was one just like cod4/5

only thing i was bummed about was that i kept trying to shoot all the walls to see if they break off type stuff like ive seen in some videos and didnt see this happen in the demo

killzone's visuals are pretty astounding but the game just didn't draw me in all that much

it is pretty fun shooting a guy's helmet off while he thinks he's covered though

i think there's just a lot of little things going on that i haven't picked up on yet

Hey I saw this in NeoGaf and thought it would be a good idea to do here. It was a thread about sharing (trading) PSN games. Since you can download these games on up to 5 machines, you can trade them for other games. So maybe us guys here can trade our shit with eachother:
