didnt you just get it? poor little GSs just dont seem to satisfy people anymore. ahmet only kept his for a few days as well. everyone wants a 100+hp beast they can't handle anyways.

yeah and good luck with that price. although this time a year..

oh the bike's plenty for me right now, but if someone really wanted it, they could get it for me. I could have bought a CBR600 for $1500 today just as easily but I'd rather be riding for more than a week

meaning what? even though i'm a full supporter of yamaha products, i have to admit honda is tops for reliability. if you mean you'd wreck a 600, gg for finally having some common sense/self control with something about what you can handle.

imo, the biggest problem with new riders and most sportbikes is the onslaught of power after ~7k rpms. keep it below that, and they're really not a whole hell of alot faster than your average cruiser, touring, etc...

I agree with the above. They keep pulling well past where most other bikes top out...

I need a bike, like a 600 cc. Something sporty with an inline 4 water cooled engine. $1500 or less, can need work. PLEASE, anyone (dammit). I have the money, ANYONE!!!

I've lowered the price on my Ninja, the price is $1600, anyone interested? Here's the specs again:

2002 Ninja Ex-250r
~8150 miles
Fresh seals and oil on front forks
Just cleaned and waxed the chain
Just changed the oil
Starts up perfectly everytime even in the winter (with choke of course)
Good front tire, might need a back tire in the next 6 months
Perfect bike to start riding on, that's what I used it for
I'm only selling it because I don't want to take it with me to NYC
It comes with 2 helmets if you want them, one is a large silver HJC the other is just a crappy helmet I got for passengers
It comes with the bag in the picture and also I have two wheel locks for it

I'm about to put these on ebay unless I hear something from one of you:
Two great riding jackets:

-The first is a mesh tex jacket perfect for keeping cool and safe made by First Gear, size large
It's got armor in the back and in the elbows and shoulders
Very nice jacket for riding in the hot southern heat
It's in brand new condition -$100

-The second jacket is a Joe Rocket Sonic black leather jacket size 42
It's got a removable liner which kept me warm with just a t-shirt on underneath in the winter
It also has vents that open and close by zipper on the arms and on the back
-This is also in brand new condition $175

a guy at work moved to sweden and wants to sell his bike.

Quote :
"Hi,

The bike is a Suzuki Bandit 1200S. (1200cc)
Year: 1999. Miles: ~13000

It was laid down once by previous owner but completly restored by bikeshop.
Modifications:
Yoshimura Slip on exchaust
Carbon seat with backrest
Engine Guards
Tinted windshield
Aftermarket mirrors. (original included)
Blue HTC helmet included + complete manual.

The bike looks great and runs great. Never had any problems starting it up (warm or cold) The only problem I had was that it was so strong that the front wheel always wanted to come off the ground in 1st gear. (I never did any voluntarly wheelies)

The low end torque is very strong and you can use any gear at any speed. I paid 2800 for the bike last year, I'm selling it now for 2500."

Ted, buy that shit, I get closer to buying my friends bike everyday.

Who's bike is it?

I work with Ted at Sony Ericsson, and the majority of the people employed by our company is based in Lund. It's not stolen.

2002 Suzuki SV650S - Sport performance without high insurance - $3350

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reply to: anon-68991571@craigslist.org
Date: 2005-04-18, 2:09PM EDT

2002 Suzuki SV650S - ~6,600 miles, recently serviced. This bike runs like a champ. While it's never been raced, it does have a little road rash from being dropped at a standstill and some wear from a cardboard box rubbing it during my recent move. I used this as a daily commuter for 2 years now I don't have to commute anywhere, so it's really just been sitting for a few months, only going out a couple of times when I was bored. This bike is great on insurance since it is considered a "standard" instead of a "sport".

I am the only owner and have title in hand.

Lockhart phillips flush-mount front turns, short stalk mini rear turns. Current NC inspection. Comes with a bungee cargo net, cover, swingarm stand, factory service manual, extra oil filter, and a couple of quarts of oil.

Kelly Blue Book is $4,135 with less than 10,500 miles. That price doesn't include the swingarm stand, cover, etc.

If you're interested, shoot an e-mail and I'll gladly let you know anything you want. I have 1 helmet (my wife's) that was only worn twice that you can have with the bike if you want it. Also, I have a Joe Rocket Comet jacket that is negotiable. Delivery negotiable.

Will also consider trade for Honda Civic hatchback or Del Sol.
