this seems to be like an epidemic in all of these weekly shows this year.

Lost, Nip/Tuck, and especially Alias have had tendencies to have completely horrendous episodes this season.

JJ is to blame for two of those, but as for Nip/Tuck....who knows.

Directors and Producers tend to think that these types of "fluffer" episodes actually are building the plot with character development and creating a tension that will ultimately explode like a volcano.

Dont they understand that Americans are lazy as shit and we want instant gratification? We dont want to watch three 4/10 episodes in order to get one perfect 10/10.

Americans want consistent 7/10's or higher. No time for development....just show me the money.

Go and try your "fluffer" tricks with the Canadians.....they'll fall for anything.

So again...perhaps you all will appreciate this.... so I'd only made it to episode 3 in season 1.....(I'm working on catching up....but slowly...real slowly) and last Thursday we went out to a bar and we were standing outside and there was an actor who looked familiar but I couldn't place him...so we're talking and my roommate (who also is only up to ep 3 season 1) starts telling my friend Elan about how our friend Katie had some guy call her and leave a message saying he was Christain and my friend believed it and was heartbroken when it was all a joke (cause we're of course all in love with him) ha ha it was funny..... so then my friend Elan goes, 'That guy (motioning to the actor that looked familiar) is on Nip Tuck' and both my roommate and I were like, 'Nu uh...that guy is NOT on Nip Tuck!' and we were drunk, so of course we were loud and obnoxious and there was only about 5 people outside so he completely heard us..but whatever, we were convinced we knew better.... so saturday I pop in episode 4 season 1 and fucking a if the first person I saw wasn't Merril...aka the actor we saw
