Atsur cannot be allowed to take an end-of-game shot. If left to his own devices, he tries to create his own 3, with disasterous results.

Its good that he wants the ball in the end of games, but he needs to realize that he cannot do it on his own.

Vandy 2 years ago, UNC on Saturday are just 2 examples. Of the end-of-game 3's that I have seen him take, I don't know if he's ever hit the rim...

^exactly. dumb people look at the stats line and think that generalizes for all situations. The problem is that we don't really have someone who should initiate the offense in an end game situation.

Grant is actually our best drive and draw player, but he cant finish or make good decisions to save his life. Bennerman would be good here if he could actually fucking dribble. Bethel is the best by default since he is fast and can dribble fairly well -- too bad he rarely tries to penetrate.

It would be ideal to get atsur, evtimov, or bethel in a catch and shoot situation. You balance this with ced on the inside and brackman in a mismatch/isolation type situation. You would have to run some play for bennerman moving without the ball -- i definitely dont trust him to make a clutch 3 or to dribble the ball for more than 1 or 2 bounces.

It might even be simpler and better just to pack the middle with rebounders and go for the putback. Bethel, grant, brack, ced, and bennerman would be the rebounding squad.

just from watching the first half i saw them miss AT LEAST a half dozen put back layups if not more

I got all the commercials edited out too and chapters for each segment with dope little fade transitions
