finished the game, all factions, main quest, and daedric quests about 3-4 days ago at 45 hours of playtime for anyone that wants to know.

I am a theif/assasin and completely beat the shit out of the entire arena with no problem what so ever. hell I beat the grand champion with 2 arrows! 2!

Although I have a suspicion that after doing his quest for him he gets weakened because of the quests backstory.

Got into the arcane university a few days ago, been having some fun there.

Made:
1) Frost sword with decent damage/area/duration
2) Frosttouch spell with good damage
3) Weakness to frost spell for like 70%

All together, nasty!... A highly focused attack that is wrecking level 9!

i can't wait to start quests for the mage's guild and get into the university. i'm a lvl9 battle mage and i havn't even been to kvatch yet for the first time in the main quest. i'm working my way up the arena ladder for now to gain fame and fortune, i'm only a gladiator. there is just way too much to do! love this game.

I am fighting bandits with elven weapons,

casting weakness to frost, then my frost spell twice, then one hit with a normal sword and they die.

it is sick. they only hit me once! lol.

What is that "dispel" spell for?? I might not be saying it all right but it says something like 25 points to dispel on self or others. damn I need to quit buying spells if I dont know what they do I finally cured myself of being vampire. was cool at first but with all the traveling I was doing it started to be a bitch.

^ yeah they need to make vamp less deceptive.

my guess is that dispel gets rid of ability drains and whatnot. like if you have a spell that is draining your agility for 10 then dispel 15 will get rid of it. or maybe if you have like 3 of those on you it'll get rid of 2 if you have dispell 25. i dunno, but that seems like a decent guess. might just be the lvl too, like it'll get rid of a spell that requires lvl 25 in that skill to cast.

ive never had that much on me worth dispelling no matter how it works.

kill 4-5 ghosts, screw up my good armor, kill some traitor's ghost, then save the watchman. get the map to his treasure.

MAYBE WORTH 100 gold... WTF.

Are you talking to the right people in the mage's guilds?? They should be an option at the bottom for you to recharge magical weapons. I dont have any yet so ever time I talk to them the screen is blank

If you dont have any silver weapons do you have any "turn undead" spells on you??? Throw that at em and at least they will turn and run away from you for a few seconds. I'm only at level 7 or so but I finally got the chance to be able to summon those damn things to fight for me. they dont throw the fireballs alot but when they connect holy shit....the bad guys drop like flies. I Can't decide who I like better, ghost, scamp, or the zombie. Ive used the Skeleton so many times so Im partial to him. Hes good at distracting people for ya.

i think it would be cool if thieves had the ability to toss their dagger upside down in their hand and throw it at an enemy, youd have to pick it up afterword but it could be a great "finishing" move, if they are already really low and you're low on health.
