^^^Well I'd hope the dad thing didn't surprise anyone, but the Morris part caught me a little off guard because I didn't really know his background, i.e. that he was capable of programming a nuclear bomb.

but they're far enough into the show where they're not going to bring anyone new in just for that

and we know he's pretty good at what he does--whatever it is

and we knew the dude they were looking for worked for the good guys, otherwise he wouldn't need persuading...

so it's someone techno-savvy, who's new, who's one of the good guys--fits morris' character perfectly the way they built him up since the first episode

the only real surprise of this season has been Jack's brother--and even in a weird way that makes sense
