I've sat in section 13 before, and that view is better than most in the stadium...I've actually sat in almost every section in the stadium, and that one is in my top 5

I've got two tickets. Had two people back out.

Section 23
Row KK
Seats 10, 11

Face value of $45, so $90 gets you the pair.

PM me or AIM me Thecycle23

I live off Duraleigh, no more than a 5-min drive from the stadium, so you can pick them up on your way, or we can work something out.

yeah, I didn't even have to wash my hands and I could see the stamp slowly disappearing throughout the game. If we have a game in the heat, it's definately going to be a problem.

oh and the section 7/8 staff at the entrance let several people into 7 that had regular tickets and a few kids were running around. wtf.

yeah, they had a few (yes, few, because I had volunteered to help monitor it during the game so I know) problems w/ event one, but overall much fewer than normal...and those will be worked out...it will be a different type of ink, and diff color next game, but for this one the stamps just had come in

bitch bitch bitch. It's like the Technician staff are just itching to interview freshmen who haven't even been to a game. Proof?
Quote :
"However, according to Adam Gibbs, a freshman in political science, there were problems with the system. He said he was separated from his friends when he and another student, Molly Collins, a freshman in food science, were not allowed to come into the stadium with food. The system requires students who want to sit together arrive together."

I got in the line around 6:00 or a little after. The line was fairly long but it moved extremely fast. Other than the stamp ink not quite being good enough, everything else seemed to go fine.

yeah, so the only person the Technician could find that complained was a girl who said she was told she couldn't bring in food to the game? and unless she argued with staff, she wouldn't have gotten separated

""There were people with section 14 and 15 stamps on their hands ... at least 7 or 8 of them," Eric Ellis, junior in sociology and education general studies, said. "They were all drunk out of their minds, and one girl kicked [my girlfriend's] sweater."

Ellis said he reported the incident to an event staff member, but no actions were taken."

You know what we should do?

Ban alcohol across the country.

Seriously, its not fair to the people who dont drink to have to be around people who dont.

Either that or we should just tell all the losers who dont drink to stay home and leave us alone.

There's a difference between drinking and being so drunk that you're falling all over everyone. Those people shouldn't even be allowed in.

it was interesting to watch people come in the gates....7/8 people were sober and pumped to get good seats
SEZ was still pretty sober and excited
saw a few tipsy people in NOR
but 14/15 people were mixed, and some had trouble standing to get their hand stamped

^There were some drunk people at the front of the line for section 7/8, but they sobered up enough by the time the gates opened to be able to participate in the sprint for front row seats.

what do you mean? 12 hours and 2 showers later (and yes, I did try to scrub the stamp off)... I can still see it

[Edited on October 6, 2006 at 11:05 AM. Reason : SEZ stamp.. so maybe they fixed it after the 7/8 ppl bitched]

we replaced stamps as the lines went on if they were running low...if you got stamped by one that was full of ink, it won't just wash off...but if your stamp was low, then it could come off...that will easily be fixed

What's parking going to be like, with the State Fair and all? Will there even be parking for students next week?

Hell on Earth man...every year the fair is here and we have a game the same day....it is hell.

I don't know where in the world people are going to park.

I know I will be there as early as possible.

I was at the FSU game for all 4 quarters. My hand was stamped twice and my ticket once. I look on student ticket website and I got penalized for FSU game.

Lahyde-- how do I get that fixed? I refuse to accept the penalty when I was there (I wouldnt miss that game, ever)

^^^there isn't going to be supplied parking for students..you just have to find somewhere to park (vet school)

and ^ needs to read http://tickets.ncsu.edu to see what the penalty appeal system is, or call the ticket office

no...demand is always extremely low for the games when school is on break...so athletics sells a few of the student tickets to make sure seats are full...don't worry, I assure you that there will be some student tickets left over in the end still

no...there's no other area to give out parking passes for...I think what's going to happen is that the art museum is going to be used for parking like last year, and buses will run

You sure about the parking? Cause I thought for sure we still parked there last year during the fair. I don't remember parking in any other lot for any game, and I drove to every one. But I suppose I could be wrong

Was the game last year the first or second weekend of the fair?

The clemson game was the 13th last year and I think the fair started on the 14th. So I think that explains why we parked in the fairground lot for every game last year.

haha, yeah, I'm sure about parking...that was one reason stafford says he won't revisit tailgating until after the wake game, because since they aren't providing parking in the lot, there's no point

There were definately people in the lot for both games.

Quote :
""The four-hour tailgating restriction at football games will remain the same for the Florida State game Thursday night and the Wake Forest game Oct. 14, despite a student rally protesting the restriction planned for this afternoon.

It doesn't make any sense to extend tailgate hours two days before a game -- that is completely out of the question," Tom Stafford, vice chancellor for student affairs and the person who scheduled the meeting, said. "At the Wake Forest game tailgating is not an issue."

He also indicated that tailgate time restrictions don't matter before the Wake Forest game because the lot isn't available any earlier than normal due to the State Fair."

That is what stafford said in the technician last tuesday. From the way he made it sound, it'll be open. Who knows. And it's gonna be one hell of a mess with everyone trying to get to the game if there's no student parking.

I was with him when he said that to the technician, and I have been with him the other 20 times he has talked about it...and I was with athletics when they talked about it...that lot is taken completely by the fair, because it's where the people set up their RVs and other things...

trinity isn't used for students this year, so no, there won't be passes for that
and yes, vet school will be open, and since we have a noon game you have a good chance of getting in that lot before fairgoers do
