^^ They aren't "stupid." Typically stupid folks don't garner enough disposable income to drop that much on a game console (sans Paris Hilton and the like), but I'd bet a VAST majority of those high prices are coming from rich parents.

Fact is, not many of the "gamer demographic" (i.e. college aged folks) have that much money laying around. Those folks were the ones risking hell and high water to get ones to SELL.

well, prices have gone down some, that and i listed the 20gb at a bad time but i wanted to be one of the first to list so that hopefully i'd be one of the first with in hand units. my 20gb auction just ended at $1325 and i just received a paypal payment so i'm sending it out tommorrow. my 60gb aution is only at 100, but ends tommorrow at 7pm. here's to hoping i make a lot of that one (hopefully it'll end around 1800+. still $688 pure profit after fees was well worth 14 hours in line

I was speaking to anyone that is actually buying the system now to PLAY it. You cannot possibly tell me any of those launch titles are worth a shit.

We have an interactive in my store and it is nothing special at all. We put X3 on blu-ray in there, displayed on a top of the line LCD tv, and it was still completely uninspiring.

I hope this system fails miserably.
