The new !!! isn't getting enough love. It's really good. Kinda sounds like the Talking Heads mixed with early RHCP.

At any rate, they are coming to cradle on May 28 monday (memorial day). Tix are like 12 bones, you guys should go. I hear their live show is complete hijinx.

i'll definitely be at that !!! show, but i can't really get into their new album so much. especially the one song that sounds exactly like sublime. if you have never heard outhud, you should check them out. it's most of the members of !!!, and their second album ("let us never speak of this again")is pretty much perfect if you are into electronic/disco/punk stuff

Just got Alan Morse's "Four O'Clock And Hysteria" album. Jazz fusion fans will love this. Incredible disc from start to finish, and shows just how diverse and talented this guy really is outside of his band Spock's Beard.

The Ghost Of You Lingers, the 2nd track off the new spoon is really amazing. I haven't really heard a song like that before. Awesome!

So I'm trying to help Steve Goldberg (http://www.stevegoldbergmusic.com) and another band (that I know nothing about) find some NC venues on short notice. His band is going down the East Coast and plans to be in Virginia/North Carolina from 6/18-6/21.

Any of you have any ideas for smaller venues that I might recommend?

I found a new band today called, Electric President, that I am really digging. If y'all like Postal Service, then you should like this. I think this is just as good if not better (after only one listen) and in that same vein of electronic indie-pop.
