i didn't like this episode at all.

the ONE scene from the other ship felt very out of place.

The whole "descent into madness" thing is becoming quite annoying. I can't believe they set up Cylon civil war in the last episode, and they don't follow it up one second in this one. I can remember when this show used to have a lot more action... and a lot more of my interest.

friday's episode, IMO, was either the best or top two of the season so far.
Seeing all the different emotions that Anders went through and him wanting to put his hand on the control board for the base star was awesome.

the mutiny was went a lot different than i expected...didnt see Gaeta getting shot; i hope he makes it.

i really loved the ending

Yea, definitely LOVED the six killing that chick and getting all psycho. Great layer of complexity to the BSG universe.

Like where this is going so far. Hopefully we will learn what the state of the other cylons are. Assuming this one base star is the last one left of the six fleet.

I have come to the conclusion that I am glad they are ending it simply because its takes so damn long for new seasons to come out. I have lost a lot of enthusiasm, though I must admit, I am gaining it back little be little as these episodes get better.

It's my understanding that there will be another substantial break between first and second halves, and that there will be 10 web episodes aired sometime in between that gap. I currently have no idea about the scheduling of this, though. Ever since con appearances back in 2007, the actors have been saying that the finale wouldn't air until 2009.

you can say that about practically any series if you want. a case can be made that nothing is as good as the first time you saw it because of all the mystery and imagination you can apply to it, on a personal level.

i'm a fan boy sure, but honestly the show grips you and is one of the best on television. but everyone is entitled to their opinions, airlocks be damned

Completely agree. I was thoroughly gripped by this show from the beginning up to the end of the 2nd season. All of my friends used to have huge BSG parties on Friday nights. Since that time, though, my interest has seriously waned. I'd personally chalk it up to Sci-Fi mismanagement, the writer's strike, and some... less than compelling... writing in the 3rd season. But that's just me.

From everything I've read, the endgame should turn out to be pretty interesting, though.

My friend introduced me to BG by playing me the TV miniseries back in April, and in 5 weeks, I've caught up all the way to the present episode. Call me a brand new fanboy.
