Houston comes into Charlotte this weekend. This will be the first regular season game for my dad and I as PSL owners . 35yrd Line 7 rows up, its been a long time coming but we finally found them.

Excited to see Mario play, I actually like what the Texans have going. Hopefully the panthers can get another strong performance from Deshaun and Deangelo.

I'll be there as well.....tickets were really cheap. I got 4 from stub hub for $4 under face value after fees. Upper Deck, but right about midfield.

Tailgating anyone?

I think this week we're just gonna go to one of my vendor's corporate tailgate. Free brats and booze is always good for business

I do need to get a new jersey though, don't want to be "that guy" this season.

I should get a Jeff King jersey

So I asked ESPN in NFL Chat today about what they thought of the Cats...here's the response:

Mark (NC): Thoughts on the Panthers so far?

SportsNation Matt Williamson: (1:38 PM ET ) Love the move to the zone blocking running game ala Denver. Fits their OL much better. Foster and Williams will excel with it. Smith is a stud as always, but I think the lack of a serious #2 pass catcher will always hold this team back. That division is winnable though for them.

See, i'm not sure the #2 pass catcher is the bugaboo...it's traditionally been the O-line, pretty bad kickoff and punt returning, below average QB work, and our defensive backfield. This year I'm seeing improvement to all here the kick/punt returning which is still awful.

i'm not worried about that either....Jeff King = the new Wesley Walls.

I'm happy with King's performance too, and extremely happy that we are actually using a tight end in the passing game.

They have got to fucking win today. We have to take advantage of New Orleans slow start and pile up some victories.

Have you ever watched him play football?

HE DOES SOME VERY STUPID THINGS

more often than he should

despite that his rating in the last three weeks has been good

he makes me so goddamn nervous

but we lost

and Delhomme fumbled the ball

not to mention that Brady was still the better quarterback on the field that day

[Edited on September 25, 2007 at 4:47 AM. Reason : he can have a great passing day like that and still manage to fumble: that's my entire point]

so every NFL team that doesn't have a QB as good as Brady should just fire their whole lineup

leaving the door open for Jay Davis!

or it would've been obvious just by the nature of said injuries

Morgan hurt his leg

in any case, do try to keep up

[Edited on September 25, 2007 at 4:58 AM. Reason : and also, why would Dan Morgan have a passer rating?]

Yeah, I refer to the guy with the hurt arm after two posts about a different guy with a hurt leg.

Totally my fault for confusing them.
