I've found it is much easier to break through an o-line as a d-lineman, so I'm guessing you just need to try some shorter slant routes or get a better o-line. 7/19/2007 10:05:11 PM |

yea it takes a lot of practice to get the timing and to see where you should be relative to where the ball is...as in you most likely will have to make jumps for the ball(to beat the defender to the ball) 7/20/2007 12:10:55 AM |

Something that bothers me on Campus Legend:
Throwing to your RB in the flats is the equivalent of taking a knee. They always run out of bounds. 7/20/2007 6:36:49 AM |
bigun60 All American 1069 Posts user info edit post |
Make sure their route takes them upfield, If they just go out in the flat then chill, you lead them right out of bounds with your pass. Throw the ball on their upfield side a little, see if that helps... Also, remember when moving around the pocket, hold down the right trigger (on 360) and your QB goes into scramble mode, then release and fire a pass. 7/20/2007 10:17:15 AM |

Ok, I bought an XPort to move over the rosters, but I am having problems... anyone around? 7/21/2007 8:27:18 PM |
MOODY All American 9700 Posts user info edit post |
i used the xport yesterday to put the rosters on
open the file you downloaded as an image, browse through the folders and copy the FKRoster file to you PC.
then browse through the hard drive - partition 3 and usually the second listed folder - you'll see game names beside it. it's ncaa 08 profile or something like that. click through the folders until you find all your saved files, then drag the roster file from your pc to your hd - then it will automatically work. i had trouble renaming it and it still working though
i'd give you step by step, but i'm not at home.
this is what i followed, but it took me a few tries because i had never done it before:
Quote : | "This tutorial is for uploading NCAA Football Roster files to the xbox 360 using Datel’s Xport360 Docking Station.
*** Files can be accidentally deleted or corrupted so before transferring files between your HDD and PC, you should backup your HDD. Xport will allow you to do this: “HDD/MC >> Backup to Image” ***
Intro: Basically there will be 2 types of game save files available. Files in the .z36 format and files of a <file> format. For Xport transfer, we will need the <file> format. Below I will explain how to obtain a <file> from a .z36 file and transfer it to your xbox 360.
If you already have the compatible <file> format, skip steps 3-6.
1. Obtain and install the most recent version of Xport 360 from codejunkies.com http://us.codejunkies.com/support_article_detail.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&p=22&i=85&g=2&ProdId=32 .
2. Make sure the HDD is connected to the docking station and that it is plugged into a USB port onfyour computer. A blue light on the front of the docking station should indicate it is plugged in correctly. Open Xport_360.exe
3. Select “Cancel” when you are given the option of opening the Hard Disk or Memory Card.
4. Click on “File” and select “Open Image”. Find the folder containing the .z36 file you wish to covert. Highlight the file (ie FKrosters-com.z36) and select “Save”. This should bring up a pop-up asking you to decompress the file, select “OK”. Select a folder to save your new BIN file to and click “Save”.
5. Now that you are back to the Xport interface, look at the left window and you will see Memory Card Image File: “: xxx xxx xxx fkrosters-com.bin”. Click the [+] to the left of it to expand. Then click the [+] on Partition 2. Next, select “Content” proceeded by “E000....”.
6. The next folder listed will be specific to your game. In the case of NCAA Football 2007, it is “454107E8”. If you open this folder and the following “000000001” folder, you will find a <file> with no extension (no .z36 or .bin). In our case, it reads “Roster-FKrosters-com”. Highlight this file and drag it to the desired folder on your computer.
7. Now Select “File”, then “Open HDD or Memory Card”. Highlight the device you want to transfer the file to and press “OK”. To get it done quickly, we will select “Xbox 360 Hard Disk”.
8. In the left window, you will need to expand “xbox 360 hard disk drive” by clicking the [+]. Click [+] on Partition 3 and select “Content”. You will now need to find the folder on your HDD containing your game saves. The folders containing Game info start with “E000...”. Follow the folders through until you find your game saves. In this case: E0000...454107E8 <User-user name>0000001. If done correctly, you will see all of your game saves listed in the right window of Xport.
9. Now simply drag your <file> (ie. “Roster-FKrosters-com”) to the right window containing all of your game saves. After it is added, you should be able to see it listed with the rest of the saves. Close Xport and fire up the 360!
The following is specific for NCAA Football 08 but should be followed with ANY game save. (plaigarized from ODogg
10. Once the file is copied to your hard disk you still have one more step to go (almost there!). Load up NCAA Football 08 and once you get into the game, go to the rosters screen and ensure the rosters are loaded. You should see named players. If you don't see named players then you may need to manually load the file. Once you get the named players loaded then you need to save the rosters under a different name, something using your own name (ex. ODogg-rosters) and then delete the file called ROSTER-FKrosters-com from your hard disk.
11. **IMPORTANT** - Please ensure you rename the file per step 10 to something else and delete the original roster that you downloaded! Also, do not distribute the file to any friends or family without having them do this. Finally, do not, under any circumstances, upload these rosters to 360gamesaves.com - All of this is to ensure Fairdale Kings console isn't "locked" by Microsoft which basically corrupts his rosters for further download and use by future users. Please ensure to follow these steps so that everyone can enjoy his hard work!" |

it won't prompt you to save...it will open the file like winzip and you can browse to the roster file and you manually copy that to your PC, just drag it to where you wanna save it...try that and see if you can make it through...it's a little tricky the first time 7/21/2007 8:50:01 PM |
