Quote : | "Arsenal's physio: The injury looks worse than it is
Arsenal's chief physio Gary Lewin, also the ruling manager of the English FA physiotherapists, informed Wenger's assistant Primorac that the damage to Eduardo's leg isn't as bad as it was assumed based on TV footage.
"It looks worse than it is. Only the fibula, the outside bone, is fractured, while the internal one is not. A return is possible in five months" Primorac relayed from Arsenal's employee." |

Carling Cup final is a good one... Spurs just tied it with a PK in the 69th minute... Drogba got the first from Chelsea on a straightaway free kick... 2/24/2008 11:39:53 AM |

My little bro is a big Spurs fan and I like West Ham so I SHOULD root for Chelsea... but damn they annoy me.
And he really should have scored on both those chances.. 2/24/2008 11:46:12 AM |

Fuck FSC. Nobody wants to see the Eduardo clip anymore. Yet they show the clip, freeze it at the moment of contact, then fade to an animated view of the bone structure of his leg snapping. 3/1/2008 9:56:50 AM |

Also wtf Walcott and Diaby injured in a friendly against the Colorado Rapids.
Why are you going to be playing a friendly against a MLS team in the middle of a week when you have Champions League and Premier League? wtf 3/8/2008 1:25:52 PM |

On a completely different note, the cheapest tickets I have been able to find for Bayern Munich are $300-$400, so needless to say, change of plans. Gonna tour the stadium there for $15 and go to a RCD Espanyol match at Barcelona Olympic Stadium for $50 instead. 3/8/2008 5:20:45 PM |

^^ Yeah, Chelsea had all 10 field players in the Barnsley half for about the last 15 minutes. That was a nice goal by Barnsley too. Cudicini got dunked all over by that Barnsley forward. 3/8/2008 6:04:52 PM |

is drogba injured? and where was lampard, also wright-phillips played lackadaisical in the midfield and ended a lot of the blues chances with mis-hits 3/8/2008 6:22:35 PM |
IMStoned420 All American 15485 Posts user info edit post |
The owner of Chelsea fucked the team up because he wasn't happy with the style in which Chelsea was winning and basically fired Jose Mourinho. Ever since then Drogba's been off his game and Lampard hasn't been getting as much time. 3/8/2008 7:32:15 PM |

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a situation where a coach with that much success was let go like that. It might have been a slightly more boring style of play, but they won their fair share of matches. 3/8/2008 11:30:03 PM |

^Fabio Capello - last year. only difference is that Real Madrid actually WON La Liga, and he was still fired. They also went further in the champions league than this year. 3/8/2008 11:38:22 PM |

I said he was 'basically fired' because he wouldn't conform to what Roman wanted him to do. Mourinho wasn't playing Ballack or Shevchenko or something like that and he got fed up and left. I would have too. 3/9/2008 12:58:38 PM |

madrid hasn't advanced past the round of 16 since 03-04 with Queiroz...i think Capello being ousted was more because he wasn't liked by a lot of the players
hopefully Mourinho will be in milan soon
