typical early season god awful performance from a Herb-recruited team, only this year we don't have any smart senior guards to lean on

why are our big men such pussies? hickson is young, but mccauley and ESPECIALLY COSTNER can be little bitches at times. Costner's play thus far has got to be one of the most disappointing in all of college basketball so far this year

You know, we really haven't looked much better than this in any game this year. The only difference is the shitty shots aren't going in and MSU is actually a good team and can take advantage of our poor play. We haven't rebounded all season. We haven't made free throws all season. We've been slow and disorganized on offense all season. We're now finding out what's going to be like against quality competition this year if we keep that up. New Orleans was just a warm up, this is the real wake up call.

i don't like the offense we are running.. it looks like we have Shaq in his golden years on our team.. we are spreading the floor and trying to get the ball to Hickson everytime. The kid is good but he's still a freshman who can't/won't pass out of the double and triple teams and even if he did, our guys aren't really hitting their shots. Lowe needs to switch up our offensive sets and atleast try to attack the basket more.
