once you get the acorn give it back to that guy so the forest will 'watch over you'

do those 3 tomb things that spawn those remnants or whatever. Then that path thats blocked by fog should open up, but be prepared its a looooooooooooong ass dungeon

Theres a short-cut through the tunnel in the right side of the first temple room. I think it opens up after you kill Kolgrim.

Yes, I'm switching to the correct forms to counter his. The problem is more the difficulty setting than anything else. Try the event on Hard, and you'll see what I mean.

The console versions are decent, go PS3 if you have to go console. PC version is simply better though, but if your CPU sucks and you cannot build a new one, go PS3.

I played my first 9 hours on the second hardest difficulty. it was aroudn 10pm last night and I was about 3/4ths the way through redcliffe castle and had 3 health potions left so I switched to casual to beat that thing in the courtyard and... I can't believe how easy the game is as casual (well, I guess I can, since it's 'casual'). it was fun for a little while but it takes away any sense of strategy since you can just smash the shit out of everything. I think I'll switch it back tonight.
