their defense is bad and the rushing game isn't doing shit this year...hard for rivers to carry the team if he's going to throw half as much as other teams that require the QB to carry them (like the saints and broncos)

The rest of the schedule has a few tough games (@ Pitt, @ TB), but they should be able to limp into the playoffs at 9-7 or so. They'll be one of those teams that nobody wants to play against in the playoffs because they are so dangerous when fired up.

I think Marty is trying a little too hard to get LT into this game. I understand the bad field conditions warrant running the ball a little more and the Chargers do need to get some production from their running game....but shit...they need to move the ball and get some points on the board.
