i dont get how this team beat wvu and vtech...when we came out after the half, alot of wahoo fans were scared...they were like oh shit, this is the ECU from the beginning of the year! but that fake field goal for a TD killed us...that surprised the shit out of me!! pickney needs to seriously hold on to the damn ball better...thats 3 fumbles this year that have killed us! id also like to say that there is going to have to be another reciever step up besides D. Harris. Pickney had 3 completions in the 1st half all to D Harris, and a fuckton of dropped balls.

ps. the uva crowd is so quiet...i remember plenty of games at dowdy during the damn JT days that were louder than that crowd, and their 1st down chant is pathetic. but the fans are nice, i didnt run into a shitty one while i was there, very nice. PARKING FUCKING SUCKS!!!

pss. PENALTYS PENALTYS PENALTYS!!! fucking killed us as well, that late hit on Johnson(i think thats was his name, i suck i know) was such bullshit, he barely even touched him if he even did...that was wack....and perriman is a beast. glad we held him to 7 yards in the 2nd half.

Pinkney can't do it all on his own. I saw receivers dropping too many passes and our offensive line allowed their defense to pressure him. I'm suprised he was only sacked 5X. Our defense tightened up in the 2nd half but there was already too much damage done. fuckin sucks but oh well. beat memphis

well we're starting to use our "gunslinger" Kass instead of just Pinkney who is struggling badly and that's produced some much needed offense. We knocked the Memphis 1st & 2nd string QBs out of the game in the 1st quarter so it really wasn't much of a fight. What would have ensued if neither had been injured? It's just one of the Pirate's "what ifs" this season

What if...

1. ...Beamer had pulled Tyrod's redshirt off in the 2nd half in Charlotte?
2. ...Lee hadn't blocked that VT kick same game?
3. ... our best back Dominique Lindsey stayed healthy?
4. ...we scored that TD against state on 4th down?
5. ...we mixed in Rob Kass at QB during our 3 game losing streak?
6. ...Bryant behaved and didn't get himself suspended?
7. ...our star LB Quentin Cotten stayed healthy?

ECU's chances of winning were also greatly increased when Memphis lost their first and second string QBs and eventually finished the game with their 4th string QB whose name wasn't listed on the depth chart.

I stuck with the program through thick times (1-11 in 2003 and 2-9 in 2004) and I am still sticking with them through this bullshit (just like loyal state fans stick with their team). If they want to act like dumb thugs, let them. I hope when Bryant and Williams are serving my Number 2 with a Mountain Dew I can laugh at them and rub it in on how they blew it. We think they are just as much idiots as anyone else does

* If you have never been to ECU, you dont know what kind of cops we have here. Just about any incident you hear about isnt the state police, but the East Carolina Police. These motherfuckers prey on college kids and you can ask anyone who goes to this school and they will tell you the same. They roll to parties "SWAT" style and have no problem beating the shit out of you for no reason. I know several cases of police brutality, ecspecially downtown. Even know a kid who was driven out to west greenville, beat to shit by the cops, and then dropped off at the Emergency Center.... WTF? He had to get stiches and lost a couple teeth but couldnt do anything to prove that it was police brutality. Shit, some of what we get was aired on ESPN when we beat West Virginia. Just everyday life here and this halloween Im sure some incidents will be in the paper...

this is my 4th year at ecu, all of which filled with plenty of loud, wild, underage drinking before turning 21 and then just loud, wild drinking after turning 21 at parties and downtown


never once have i had an unfortunate incident with the police, and the few times ive seen questionable police action take place, it was pretty much asked for


this is not to say that it doesnt happen because we all know it does from time to time, but jesus christ you make greenville sound like fucking auschwitz.
