Yeah the pocket doesn't last very long but Wilson has plenty of time while on his feet to find someone downfield. QBs do it all the time. Wilson just seems like he doesn't want to take any risks with his passes.

From what I can tell Wilson's arm is okay. His mobility is obviously very good.

He doesn't see the field worth a shit and is terrified of throwing the ball downfield. He doesn't look very comfortable in the pocket and he is incapable of making quick decisions.

Those are all pretty common for an inexperienced QB.

What remains to be seen is if he'll pick up on these things. Some guys never get it and some just need a season under their belt.

Either way its worth it to start him this year and see what happens. Evans is clearly a waste of time and Beck is worthless too.

If he doesn't progress any this year we go into camp with an open competition and hopefully one of those guys emerges. We're going to lose our reputation for producing great WR's if we don't have anyone who can get them the ball.
