^I saw it. Maybe it's because I went into it expecting to be knocked on my face, but I wasn't overly impressed. Was she really good? Sure ... but there are women in my church who sing much better. I do like her attitude though ... very quirky, but confident at the same time. The whole "I'm 47 and have never been kissed" thing was shocking though. She probably won't have that problem much longer.

I pretty much agree. I was excited at the beginning of the season as I thought there was a lot of talent, more than usual....but the last 2-3 weeks have been rather boring. Only the cross dresser homo provides any excitement...I look forward to see what kind of crazy shit he'll cook up next..but i sure am not going to rush out to buy his album, just not my type of stuff.

Allison is really good, I think the older she gets she could have a decient kelly clarksonish career maybe. The glasses guy can sing, but he bores the life out of me & he sings a lot of his songs the same kind of way & loud as shit. I do not like Lil & usual leave when she comes on. Anoop is BORING as SHIT. He can sing, but damn his performances make me want to sleep & when he does something entertaining he sucks ass but is funny...he needs to trim 'dem brows as well.

I actually like Matt G. even though he's kinda been lacking these past 2 weeks, I'd consider buying his record maybe, big maybe. Kris is actually not too bad either, he's at least creative & I think he could have a top 40 hit or 2 maybe, but the hick stash has been distracting me the past few weeks & I'd give it to his wife, she's hot. Who else is left?? Um...i have either forgot them which means they suck or there are no more. Adios!

Wasn't a huge fan of Adam's performance...it being disco week, I was expecting something more uptempo...gotta admit that is what makes Adam so good, he changes it up so much that you actually don't know what to expect from him. Props to Kris again for taking a song and totally changing it up with his own style. I think he and Danny have sort of flip flopped in terms of their popularity and perceived ranks. So long Lil and Anoop.

I actually agree that Kris has sort of bumped Danny out of the spotlight.

But Adam is golden every week, because no matter what he chooses to do, he never does it the way you'd expect. He took an uptempo disco song and made it a slow, sultry ballad. He plays to the camera so well too. He said he didn't wanna do another uptempo disco song since he'd already done Play That Funky Music.

same here. i dont know what happened to Danny; its like he is trying to be a Christian Pop artist or something....thats just the vibe i have been getting from him. His audition performance just blew me away but his performances on the show just havent done a lot for me.

Totally agree about Anoop. Beautiful voice, he really can sing. Unfortunately I just can't figure out what kinda album he'd be able to market. He's not R&B, he's not Pop, he's not Country - and he isn't Disco either. But he sounds good. I'd say Lil, Anoop, or Matt could go home tonight, but I honestly feel Lil and Matt were the worst of the night. Matt's song "Stayin' Alive" was great for the first 20 seconds, then I just got so bored with it. And Lil just does not have the range to sing Chaka Khan or Tina Turner, or any of the other divas she's tried to mimic.

he's unique. on a show where you see thousands of people doing the same thing day in and day out, this kid brings to the table something that no one else ever has. and he's not afraid to do it either. he's not scared to go against the norm and show-off his voice, even if it means turning one of a music legend's biggest songs into an indian-sounding mantra of sorts.

^I think ^^ was talking about Danny, not Adam. Also, Adam didn't creatively change the song, he just copied what someone else's cover of Ring of Fire (Chris Cornell maybe?). But yes, he had the guts to sing that version... and it was worse than anything Sanjaya ever did.

Danny would shine if he embraced his inner Michael McDonald more. He just hasn't blasted that out. When he does, like the second half of his performance last night, he's good. It's taken him too long to find his "sweet spot" and choose songs that showcase his unique vocal abilities.
