^yes he underthrew 2 passes. both passes our O-line gave up and wilson was running for his life. (althought the O-line didn't give up a sack tonight as far as i can remember)

on one pass, their corner made a pretty impressive dive and deserved the pick, but he dropped it.



just got back from the game.

wish I had a video of the first play from murray state. 6 blackhawks flew over at about 500 ft and the tailback looked up and got distracted.

Does it give anyone else a small piece of solace that our same defense that only allowed 7 pts against SC, well the #22 ranked Georgia Bulldogs have allowed them to put up 30 plus points..


I know the game is in the past but seeing the score of the SC and GA game makes me feel even that much more proud of the statement our defense made in Game one despite the outcome...

They gave up one sack, but it was mainly on Wilson. Props to Julian Williams tonight. He moved over to LT this week and was going up against a Defensive player-of-the-year front runner (in FCS). That's encouraging. A few other observations:

-Wilson looked like Wilson. He didn't really take off much, but he looked decisive and quick when he did. 95 percent of his passes we're right on the money.

-James Washington is going to be one heck of a receiving threat out of the backfield. Dude has great hands and knows how to get open.

-I love the 3-4 defensive schemes we're putting in. Willie Young is downright unblockable when he's at a LB position.

-I thought TOB left the starters in there too long. I know we want to get our mojo back, but we were up by 50+ and still had the starters in. I hope Clem Johnson is ok...

Lastly, I'll say we definitely needed this game. I was sick of thinking about the SC game.

I wouldn't call it running up the score, we barely did anything in 4th quarter. We were giving our backups practice and if Murray St can't stop them, not our fault. We were running a whole bunch, running up the score usually implies late quarter passing.

he threw it with 3 defenders about to crush him and still threw it into 2x coverage. just a low % throw, not a "sloppy" throw by any means. he was just in a big hurry to hit 60 points

wilson hasnt been playing to throw no INTs, which is a good thing. He's had quite a few almost picks dating back to the throttling of Chapel Hill last year. I'd love for him to get the record but I dont want him throwing the ball away or only hitting the checkdown guy because taking NO chances is just as bad as going full blown Jake Delhomme
