NFL Network just announced Phillip Adams, DB out of NC State...to which I wondered who the heck was Phillip Adams.

Google turned up he apparently played at SC State.

He's 23 or 24 and graduated. Let the man move on with his life if this doesn't pan out. He should get a chance as an undrafted free agent, who have about as good a shot making an NFL team as a 7th round pick.

Also surprising noone took a shot with LeGarrett Blount. Obviously bad incident but could be a big back or Greg Jones type FB.

^^^^^I don't think Kiper was the one who had him as the #1 pick, but the Bucs signed him to a FA contract after the draft

Toney Baker used to be the #1 RB in HS. Just to show you how much HS football ranking mean.

i think the draft should start 2 weeks after the superbowl and every team gets to be on the clock for a day or two and that way we drag out football season super long since its the only sport i care about

ECU's punter was drafted higher than George Selvie.

I am in no way bragging. I think this is ludacris.

The NFL draft is a wild ride man. I mean what the heck.

Jevan Snead didn't even get drafted. WOW.

These poor kids run through walls for years and years just to have some NFL exec take wild swings and misses on just whatever player strikes their fancy. I hate it for some of these kids.

Anyone else think Seattle might have made a mistake on their draft card when they selected EJ Wilson (6'4 286 DE out of North Carolina), not CJ Wilson (6'3 290 DE out of East Carolina) in the 4th round? Pretty much everyone had CJ Wilson as a higher grade going into the draft...

You can't blame Seattle. Every time a non-greenville reporter wrote about CJ Wilson, they friggin called him EJ every Mutha FXXXin time. Jeez.

But thats ok. CJ is gonna fix all that real soon.

HAHA we all make mistakes

2007 Jarvis Moss - DE
2008 Ryan Clady - OL
2009 Moreno - RB Ayers - DE
2010 Thomas - WR Tebow - QB

Some teams trade their first round draft picks, some teams waste them (With the exception of Clady, he is a beast). We will see how Thomas works out, but I think we both know Tebow will bust

Also, Baker to take Moreno's spot

I thought they knew about it...He was arguably the best TE in the draft, taken in the 3rd b/c of all the failed tests.

* = underclassman

I really hope UNC never has a player go #1 in the draft...thats something we not only hold over them, but we hold over the entire ACC...for now

BBall wise I think Thompson was #1 overall (ABA) but UNC has Worthy and (gasp) Brad Daugherty

it'll be as few as 2 and as many as 5, depending on the upcoming season. quinn and austin are locks, and carter, sturdivant, and williams could also be there. burney is good but is probably a 2nd-4th guy, and charlie brown is probably 3rd-4th.
