Eh, I'd still say that throwing a blindside punch is nowhere near as bad as an elbow at full speed or a two-hander to the skull, but whatever.

^^that was 6 years ago,and I don't recall bertuzzi ever being an issue before the steve moore thing. He served his suspension (was suspended internationally, during lockout, too). And honestly hasn't been a disciplinary issue.

Plus, homeboy was bent over on this play. Had he stood up, it would have been a big check. I'm OK with just the major.

Want to talk about an under disciplined hit this year? Heatleys elbow on ott. Two games, seriously? It was a worse elbow than cookes, because I think cookes was desperation since he was going to miss his check. (Which, he totally deserved his 14-17 games given priors) Not saying heatley deserved just as many, but it should have been around five games.

as of right now, tim thomas has the highest season save % of any goalie in modern history (TT is at .938, hasek had .937 in '99)

you think they start him and risk that record, or rest him and preserve it, especially since he's been showing signs of fatigue lately

considering the matchup is just as much a function of buffalo and montreal as it is boston and philly, i'd rest him...but i'm a goalie mark

I hope they rest him. What's left to really play for? I don't think jumping one spot is worth it, plus Rask is more than capable. Give him a couple games off before the playoffs to rest and don't risk the save%.
