Watching mich. st. and UCLA, the coaching is so obviously leaps and bounds better than what i am used to watching. The discipline on offense, the tenacity and teamwork on defense from both teams is great.

yeah, captain obvious, I know. Just makes me sad what a waste of talent we had this year.

i don't think so. the teams, particularly mich. st., aren't executing well, but you can tell what they have been taught.

You don't see retarded shots early in the shot clock, you see great help D especially by UCLA. You see offensive sets that if they don't work the first try don't turn into free for all mode. And neither of these teams are even elite this year.

^They are playing for the foul call too much and aren't getting the calls. I thought they were supposed to be used to a rough-and-tuble big 10, and I thought the pac 10 was supposed to be soft. Looks the other way around

Tom izzo is a dumbass. Why would you call the last timeout right after you cut it to 1 with 4 seconds left?

Theres no way you can rebound the basketball and get a good shot off with 4 seconds. you HAVE to save that last timeout in that situation. ucla was able to miss the last ft intentionally to ice the game.
