Here's to hoping they do a better job with The Whisperers. It's a great story and great "villain", so now to hope they don't screw it up too much. Just seems weird to have this storyline start without Rick or Carl involved.

At this point it's more like "The TV Show Loosely Based on The Walking Dead".

if Gimple and Chandler Riggs weren't getting along, I wish he would have waited and recast Carl here

im guessing the kid from the Kingdom and Judith will pick up Carl's story elements

So we're going to replace the relationship of Negan and Carl with...Negan and Judith? Ok, I guess I'll allow it since Judith is the most interesting character right now.

Good intro for the Whisperers. Should allow for 2 respected characters to go back and try to explain what they just saw.

Found it interesting that they put Rosita with Gabriel and then nodded to Gabriel with the water tower. Not sure if they'll have Gabriel need to go back there to fix what Eugene did and die or if they're just acknowledging the location but saying that Gabriel isn't going out like that on the show.

Like that they're going with the fair but I still have my doubts that TWD will go all-in with the heads on the spikes moment, at least in terms of actually killing off the same characters.

Yeah I'm glad they got a solid actor I enjoy to play Beta.

I actually liked the intro of Alpha, glad they changed the line too, made more sense in the context of the show.

Yeah I hated Henry's character before but he's even more painful in this role.

Think they're certainly setting up certain people to end up with their heads on spikes.

Pretty disappointing they switched some of the heads.

Tara and Enid just don't have the same impact as Ezekiel and Rosita.

Though putting Henry's head on the spike was definitely a nice twist, but only because it really pushes Carol's character.
