I have a feeling that pitchfork waited until Wednesday to post the Best Coast review so it wouldn't negatively impact her Tuesday album-release sales. They wouldn't do that for most artists, but I can see them doing that for a former buzz-artist/ pitchfork-championed artist like Best Coast.

Uh yeah, I think that's true, but bear in heaven was a "pitchfork champion" and their review came out the day of. They didn't score that low this time around though. Costantino is a marketing gimmick at this point. Lest ye be reminded about her clothing/jewelry line at Urban. I couldn't even get through one song on that new album. I think the 6.1 did her a favor.
