Wilson's beaten Romo, Rodgers, Brady, and Newton - via PackPride

I can see this rookie of the year going like last year, where Wilson may get a better overall record but RG3 gets the award from flashy Newtonesque plays

Yeah wilson is smart enough and experienced enough(4 year starter) that I don't think they should have been keeping him on a leash quite so much.

uh, RGIII is clearly better than russell wilson. It's not even close.

You put RGIII on Seattle and they are Super Bowl contenders.

That being said, great game finally for Wilson that's what we were waiting for.

Unfortunately, it's too late to undo kicking him off the team.

RW wouldn't be eligible to play for NC state this year actually

You're right though, beating tom o'Brady is meaningless. Tom Brien was right to throw him to the curb and kick him to the wolves

pretty sure the guy who just beat Tom Brady could have beaten Wake forest and Boston college.

But we declined an invitation to the ACC championship last year so we could play in it this year.

Oops

We'll never be able to undo all the evil TOB committed or move past it until he's gone. Things like this just fester until everyone confessess their sins

RW would've definitely won @Wake and @BC

even though he couldn't win at either place 2 years earlier

you act like RW intercepted Brady twice today, or tackled Welker on their final drive before the chains, or sacked Brady multiple times

Wilson is good, so was Trent Dilfer

Two can play this game...

Imagine how good we could have been two years ago if RW only played football. He missed spring practice time and it hurt the team.

If he only plays football, we beat ECU, Clempson, and UMD. May even beat VT. Could have been undefeated and in the NT game. Then in 2011, Wilson is a front runner for the Heisman, and we repeat as national champions. Imagine the impact that would have had on recruiting. This year would have been Glennon leading a buch of 5* recruits back to the NC game for a threepeat.

But, he put baseball over football. Looks like a pretty stupid decision now, doesn't it.

[Edited on October 14, 2012 at 10:46 PM. Reason : And I like RW. But this revsionist, what-if bullshit is stupid.]

QB rating doesn't take into account run yards and TDs, so it's totally useless in ranking the best QB (RG3) against the others

[Edited on October 15, 2012 at 1:38 AM. Reason : RG3 rating would be 133 as well if you counted his run yards and tds as passing, FYI]

Perhaps he can take down Brees, Eli, and either Peyton or Roethlisberger in the playoffs. That might be a slightly bigger accomplishment.

oh god, really? what a historic event! thanks for pointing out something that hasn't been done in two years!

also, i'm not going to do the legwork, but how many rookie QBs in the past two years have even played against two super bowl winning QBs? can't be very many
