Yeah, according to my DVR, that went in at 0.1. Away feed too from what I can tell. (Gamecenter Live)

No worries though. Overall I don't fell that it was an awesome game, and is it sad that I think with Cam in goal that outcome could be different? We need some defense that can play DEFENSE. And our offense needs to start looking dominant instead of playing not to lose.

That being said, I am absolutely loving the Semin / E. Staal chemistry. Those two are awesome to watch play together.

JUST GOT BACK FROM THE GAME.

I honestly thought we won 2-0 until 5 minutes ago. Could've sworn I saw Bowman's puck in the next, and looked up to see 0:01 on the scoreboard.

Oh well, I'll take the W. Does Ellis start the next game? I think you have to ride him (no homo) at this point..especially in the short season.

Dump & chase is perfect when you have a dearth of talent at wing. While I'll grant that our notable wingers are insanely talented, there's only two of them.

Kudos to Semin; on top of creating the goal, he made a number of key defensive plays.

There's likely a ~0.2 delay on what the clock on the scorebug says and the actual game clock. From where I was standing I swear I saw a green light before it was in the goal, but whatev.

BTW, who runs the horn? That puck that Skinner hit the underside of the crossbar with was nowhere close to being in.

That was in the second period right? It makes sense from the vantage point the horn is controlled from. It's controlled from the nest way up at the top of the 300s above 333/334... meaning the puck was way down on the other side of the arena, which, with the curtains now blocking a good chunk of the view there (we can't even see the videoboard at all, have to look at it on monitors), it's definitely hard to see. And combined with the angle Skinner had and the way it looked from that angle we have up there, I can see why he hit the horn.

That makes sense. I know being in the arena I know which end has all that stuff, but on TV there's no concept of it.

It was weird for them to blow the play dead because of the horn, though. There have been plenty of times in the past when the horn and spotlights came on erroneously and everyone just moved on.

Yeah I am, most of the time, in the control room right behind that nest. That's where all of CanesVision is unless someone's doing camera, etc.

Also I'm a fan of bringing Wallace up. Poor man's Tuomo Ruutu, which I'll take at this point.

Also Wallace's two NHL fights are against Milan Lucic and Dave Steckel, guys who are 6'4" and 6'6", while Wallace stands 6'1". Dude is tough.

We go to those office buildings on Edwards Mill and park in the back lot with several other people, then ride 1 car in. AFAIK there's never been anyone towed from those lots.
