actually i just counted, 12 of our attempts were 2nd half/overtime intentional fouls by VT

so you could say 31-7 was the actual 'pace of game' foul count

and a good chunk of that could be explained by CJL/Brown/Warren taking it to the hole, whereas VT was settling for (and draining) 3 pointers

I like how the ref let the guy behind the 3 point line get the game tying tip in. I thought he like the shooter has to wait until it hits the rim. If not I'd run that play every time.

Also the we need to adjust on D to the way the game is called. VT was very aggressive on D and we in a tightly called game could have shot 50+ FT.

On the other hand we played really soft and didn't foul giving up tons of offensive boards. Allowing them to shoot 80 times. 80 fucking times.
