That's what happens when you beat two #1 teams and media darling Kentucky. UNC has as much talent and experience as any team in the nation. They're severely underperforming compared to their talent/experience level. But we'll never hear about that.

Why would duke schedule ooc road games? The only teams that would schedule games in tough road places when they don't have to are teams that want losses.

It's not exactly a surprise that some of the most successful tournament teams of the past 15-20 years are those who never shy away from going in to other teams backyards and playing them OOC (think Michigan State, Florida, UConn, Louisville, etc).

Relative to their seedings, Duke has underperformed in the tournament and I really do think this is one reason why. Since 2000, Duke has only made four Elite Eights. That is really poor considering they are a Top 2 seed almost every season.

Your assertions that Duke is losing because they are not battle tested are completley false.

1. Duke plays elite teams in conference and on neutral courts almost ever year so there is no way they are not battle tested.

2. Duke has not played road games in the tournament as every tournament game is played on a neutral court

3. Duke gets top 2 seeds because usually they have excelled in the ACCT butthe that does not make them better than teams seeded 3 or 4.

4. Duke has played multiple games against hte teams on your list. Several against Michigan State and they also beat Louisville last year in Atlantis before losing to them in the tournament. You don't get much more battle tested for March than that.

Duke are guard oriented, finesse team on offense. All it takes is a bad shooting night and/or ref no calls. Hence their relative 'failure' in the NCAAs
