Started Ridley at RB in one league...but also started Vereen at Flex. It's a PPR, knew he'd be used at least some. Too bad I had J. Bell on my bench in that league too.
Not a good day for my RBs across my leagues(MJD, Spiller, Ridley) but luckily the QBs/WRs/TEs all had really nice days.
Now if Andre Johnson could just lay an egg tonight that would put a nice stamp on Week 1 of fantasy, haha. 9/9/2013 8:53:42 AM |

if only I had started Reggie Bush and Anquan Boldin instead of Lamar Miller and Calvin Johnson.
I'm never starting a Miami running back again.

So, I wonder how many of the millions of fantasy teams with Peyton actually lost this week.
Outside of some wierd leagues that may use some wacky kind of scoring, I bet none.
Going against the team that has Peyton, I need about 90 points out of McCoy and Morris tonight to make it close. he also had Cruz, Fitzgerald AND Nelson (6 TD and 330 yards between them)....

^I have Peyton in one league (scored me 46.2 points) and my game is pretty much 50/50. Then again, my team is pretty shitty in that league. And my opponent had both Julian Thomas and Larry Fitzgerald.

Had Dallas D on the bench in one of my leagues, or else I would have already won going into tonight. Now i need 12 points out of DeSean Jackson tonight. A nice 60yd TD to open the game would be nice.
I'm getting destroyed in my other league (down by 58), but I still have RG III, McCoy, and Texans D tonight. Going to be tough, but possible.
And speaking of Peyton, I had Vick a few years ago when he had a similar performance and blew up Fantasy. A friend of mine in another league had him on the bench that game, I thought he was going to shoot himself.

I am currently beating my opponent who started Peyton thanks to Aaron Rodgers, AJ Green, Vincent Jackson and Reggie Bush. I'm up 143.7 to 135.65 and still have Fred Davis and Houston's Defense going tonight
in another league I was projected to score 127 points, but thanks to Spiller, Sudfeld, D. Wilson and Lamar Miller, I've got 60.42 points right now. fuck

I'd wait on dropping him.
Shane Vereen or Joique Bell worth a waiver pickup? I need a WR with R.White out but these two could be trade bait at some point. I already have Forte, Rice, and Mathews. 9/9/2013 12:52:32 PM |
GoldieO All American 1801 Posts user info edit post |
I'd wait to see how Mathews does tonight before making a determination . Vereen will be a hot pickup based on Ridley's performance yesterday, but you're still talking about starting a NE RB - always a risky proposition. 9/9/2013 12:54:36 PM |

I'd say definitely worth a pickup on either. Vereen has upside running and receiving, as does Bell. As far as I can tell from week 1 they are 2 of the most valuable backups to have right now 9/9/2013 12:59:02 PM |

Advice: The Falcons have been saying that White's sprain is not severe ever since he sustained it during the second preseason game. They weren't being truthful. White played on just 37 snaps in Week 1 and was used as a mere decoy en route to two catches for 19 yards. Expect another limited week of practice and a muddied outlook heading into Week 2. High ankle sprains are a bear to overcome. More: Atlanta Journal-Constitution (Rotoworld.com)" |

Wide Receiver question:
14-team league, not PPR. I have Mike Wallace and Steve Johnson as my starting WRs, with Kenny Britt and Greg Little as backups (figuring that they're #1 options and thus worth drafting). Should I look at replacing one of the latter two with a team's WR2 going forward?
Available:
Emmanuel Sanders Jerome Simpson Riley Cooper Brian Hartline (I know, I know) Doug Baldwin Harry Douglas 9/9/2013 9:36:34 PM |

Alfred Morris and McCoy have allowed me to extend my leads in both my leagues tonight
40 pt lead in one league, 50 pt lead in the other. League where I have the 40 pt lead, the opposing guy has Houston defense and Andre Johnson tonight...so I'm not exactly comfortable...
50 pt lead league i've already clinched the win.

So, in 1 league, Morris is credited with 2 fumbles. In another, just 1. In the league where he has just 1, I trail by 1 point to someone who has him. 9/9/2013 10:56:07 PM |
