I really like all these new game modes in ghosts.

Blitz - good action. some camping on defense but easily avoided
Cranked - constant action, you sit in the same spot, you either die or dont get kills
Hunted - evens playing field by starting you with the same weapon and throwing knives. fun stuff

my biggest complaint with this game is still maps. hopefully a map pack will somewhat remedy the problem

I have no faith in the ability of Raven studios to not suck ass at the DLC

A studio completely dedicated to the multiplayer, yet somehow they still can't make maps half as good as COD4 and W@W (Which were just copy and pasted from campaign).

dlc tonight. and gun game is added from black ops games.

gun game was hands down the reason i spent 50+ hours on black ops 2. this one just doesnt even compare.

Note straight from Activision Website for help with connection, just in case you need it. It helped me to open up the ports reference in option 1. I also opened up port 88 based on some other recommendations.

Home Network Quality and Setup

1.) Enable UPnP on your router. This will automatically route the correct data to the correct ports. If this does not resolve the issue, then try one of the following two alternatives:
a.) Set port forwarding on your router to the IP address of your console. This game uses port 3074 UDP. If there are multiple consoles on your home network, you can also redirect UDP ports 3074, 3075, and 3076 to the console (one port per console).
b.) Place your console’s IP address into the DMZ of your router.

LOL @ Activision's "How to get rid of Lag" help page.

These are the same people that allow lag compensation to happen... penalizing hosts that actually have quality internet. The same people that removed the ping bars to try and hide how terrible their matchmaking and netcode is.

DMZing your Xbox or forwarding ports isn't going to fix lag, it won't do anything to fix latency, it just keeps your NAT open.

That being said, the new maps are awesome. Fog might be the coolest map to date for the COD franchise, IMO.

the list of great maps is pretty short though. still, they ain't gettin dlc money from me. i don't even miss not having the new gun... so many tricks are using it i can pick at least one up off a body every game.

I think Fog is a really fun and by far, one of the most interesting maps that they've ever made. That's just my opinion.

^agree 100%. The detail is amazing, and the Michael Myers thing is really fun. The creepy kids singing/chanting after he dies is super creepy.

I'm still playing this on a regular basis with a group of buddies. Still having a lot of fun. It took awhile to get used to, but it's still fun IMO. The return of Dropzone is awesome.

It's growing on me.

Boring in the sense I (nor anyone in the party) ever gets super pumped or better yet pissed while I'm playing. No lol kill cams, etc...

Like I said though, I'm adapting and enjoying it more.
