Danny Lemoi took a daily dose of veterinary-grade ivermectin and told his thousands of followers to give the drug to children. He died of a common side effect of the medication."

I've always believed the ivermectin cure to be BS for covid, but you're leaving out a very important point from your article. He took a veterinary dose every day for the past decade.

He also doesn't have a medical degree or anything related to infectious diseases. His followers are idiots.

I wouldn't be surprised to learn his dewormer supplier was one G*** H*** (known purveyor of cut cocaine products)

That's not really true because veterinary doses are based on body weight and these people are taking WAAAAAAAY more than recommended by bodyweight. It's the same reason they discourage using ivermectin marketed towards large animals (cattle/horses) for dogs. The ones for 1000+ lb animals are more concentrated and if you don't carefully measure and do some math because concentrations are different, you will kill a dog or yourself. it's incredibly easy to overdose on products formulated for recipients that are orders of magnitude larger than what you're using it on.

There is no real difference between "veterinary" ivermectin and that used in people. They're the same chemical compound. Major difference is in mode of distribution and concentration. If you account for that second part, everything should be fine, but involves simple math.

But these dumb fucks don't understand either basic math or science so this is just beating a dead horse
