Phill is disillusioned with Trump kinda like caelncsu. Not a fan of the foreign policy with venezuela or iran. Phill also thinks jews control trump. Likes candice owens, etc...unsure of caelncsu opinions on that one.

How could you objectively think he would be better, especially after having a 4-year example of his management practices. It was so obvious he would be much WORSE this time -- both older / more addled and surrounded by yes-men who would make necessary efforts to check his worst impulses. So, now we're all along for this ride.

But at least we dodged that annoying laugh!

I'm there with you coz. Phill all dejected few months back about whatever in the news that day and I said "we all told you so...this isn't surprising at all to us" and phill looks at me like i'm trolling or just being untruthful.

They literally think he would have been better than kamala. Will try to find his last message about her. Its something to the effect "oh still on 2024 huh"?

So its like we can't go backward, but the whole reason we are here is because 50 percent of people got CONNED BY A CONMAN, and voted for a dictator.

As much as I'd rather not wade into The Soap Box again.

I get it, I'm a moderate dem (or at least consider myself one). I hated 'Defund the Police' because of how it had different meanings and could easily be spun as 'Oh Dems just want to get rid of the police' or something like that. I was/am pro-reform, diverting the money into other programs that would minimize the need for police, but the phrase 'Defund the Police' just didn't strike me as smart campaigning.

That being said, this version of ICE is beyond reform. It is full of untrained, unskilled, undisciplined assholes who likely couldn't make a career out of the military or the police. Many of the newer members likely joined with the intent of doing shit like this, with the fantasy of being able to 'play hero' by unloading into protestor. They believe protestors are terrorists.

I'm fine with 'Abolish ICE' as a slogan. It seems like some Dem's are workshopping 'Abolish Trump's ICE' which is likely better.

You simply can't have a 'Here's my 10 point plan to fix this' as what you run on to fix this shit, you do need a pithy rallying cry that's easily digestible.
