^^ and ^^^ I use cases after I bought my 3rd iPhone 3G (4th iPhone total since Gen1) due to smashed screens and butter fingers. Although one of those times it fell out of my jacket pocket as I Was running across the street dodging traffic.

HUGE news if you're a 3G owner wanting to upgrade:

"AT&T customer that isn't eligible for a phone upgrade yet, but will be eligible in July, August or September, good news. You're eligible starting Friday, June 19.

I don't understand how their 2 year contract works. I bought my phone at launch and signed a new two year agreement yet some how I'm up for an upgrade Dec. 30th, 2009? Does not compute.

^some apps* for some reason don't recognize that they need an update but if you just redownload it it will be a newer version. Although AIM 3.0 isn't even out yet that i know of...but this was an issue with IM+ and even their push service doens't work...it sends you an email and not a iPhone alert.

If you spend $100 or more on a single line per month you can upgrade after a year.

If you spend less than $100 on a single line you need to wait 18 months for an upgrade.

I have unlimited texts too. 450 minutes + the 3g data plan. What does that come out to? I hate having to look at my bill details because my bill is never just for the service plan haha...I always go over with the international texts and international calls. this new voice memo app would be AWESOME if there were an option to send as MMS

well maybe not awesome but real time voice chat would be cool. and yes i know it's already a phone why not just call them but just like with sms or im, it's nice to be able to carry on a conversation a little at a time. and this way, you don't have to take forever to type up a sms, you can just speak it. or even better, have it transcribe your speech into a sms

that would be cool. There is a big difference in time management between having to sit on the phone for an hour and have a conversation vs. responding when you have time. So I can see the voice memo's via mms being useful. Which technically apple has done this but thanks to AT&T WE can't do it. I really hope Apple gets other providers in the US because AT&T is doing nothing but dropping the ball.

When I go to the search page and type in something I want to find in my inbox, it only shows results for things that are in my local sent folder, or messages that were recently downloaded. Will it search deeper?
