Wall arguably has a larger skillset.

Lawson is a better shooter at this point, though.

But he wasn't so great as a freshman. Regardless, Wall needs to work on shooting the ball.

Actually, this makes me think Duke is in the running even more for Wall. The fact that a scoring guard like Curry is coming in two years makes me think they may have made the pitch to Wall that they need a scoring point guard and know he wants to go pro after a year, so why not change the way a team "with no true guard" is being viewed.

It's purely speculation obviously, but if Henderson ends up staying Wall would have some pro talent around him to run with similar to the William Avery and Jay Williams led Duke teams.

I hope State lands Wall, but the surrounding talent makes me feel that this isn't very likely at all.

I honestly don't know why Wall would choose to come here.

If he did, the RBC would be rocking, but why would he come to State?

Memphis or even Duke. I doubt he goes to Baylor.

Not saying he should come here, but there's plenty of reasons he could:

-Mother's health.
-Sid was the first guy to really start recruiting him.
-It's his hometown (plenty of time to see the rest of the country in the NBA).
-He'd be the focal point of the team. That won't be the case at Duke.
-A chance to single-handedly make a team relevant again ... he'd be legendary.
-Sid seems like a cool coach to play for.
-Ehh, maybe he likes red?

I don't know if this has been mentioned, I didn't feel like reading pages back. Memphis has Tyreqe (sp?) Evans and he did a hell of a job this year as a Freshman running the point. There is no guarantee that if Evans stays that Wall would run the point. I'm sure that Sid has mentioned this several times. As for Duke, that is not a one year school, I doubt he would want to be in the system because K would not play him all the minutes.
