these gold cup opponents are obviously really weak so it is hard to take much from these games, but in general it has been nice to see some different people scoring goals the past few months between qualifying, friendlies, and the gold cup.

Really hoping Klinsmann works Landon into some remaining WC qualifiers. I'm interested to see him working with the A squad against some decent competition.

I think everyone hates Wynalda, myself included, but I think he hit the nail on the head with "Wondolowski is the forward you want on the field for the last twenty minutes of any game." Maybe not a starter at A level, but considering how hard he runs for the whole game, imagine if he was the sparkplug forward who comes on at 65'-70'.

i think business will really pick up around the 65th minute. that's when the possession and fitness differences will really start to have an impact, and we'll also probably bring on a couple of fresh guys. with our depth, that should be good. i really wish we would have started beckerman, his passing has been excellent lately.

I think the switching between SD and HD is due to Fox50 putting up the severe t-storm warning. For some reason, they can't broadcast it in HD. Same thing happened during the MLB All Star Game.
